Dutchie (from the Netherlands) here, living in the USA.I started formula feeding my firstborn baby with one of THE best Dutch formulas “Nutrilon”, brought by my family members (when they flew from overseas to support me) and I bulked up myself when I visited back home (the Netherlands) for a month.Long story short, at some point I was going to run out of my Dutch Nutrilon supply and I felt mortified having to feed my son with American formula.I just don’t trust the American ingredients as much as I do the Dutch/West European due to the difference in laws pertaining to ingredients.So I am extremely grateful to have found Aptamil, which is just like Nutrilon, by Nutricia.I received my first order of 2, packed up safely and unopened as you can see from the photo.The expiration date is Aug 2025 (purchased by me during Oct 2024).So unlike the other negative reviews, I did not experience issues with the packaging nor the expiration date.I’ll alter this review if anything else changes

We’re a British-American family in the US and started our first baby on Aptamil in the UK. It is great that when we moved to the US, we were able to continue using the formula.Once our second one came around, we were very happy to be able to continue to use Aptamil versus American formulas.

Aptamil is a great formula. I've used it for both my kids. Make sure you check every box when you order it from Amazon, though. I ordered three boxes and two had previously been opened. Crazy!! Have received a refund and also filed a report with the FDA.

I was researching formula and hated how all of the US based ones had palm oils and corn syrup solids. I ran across Aptamil and decided to keep it on hand as a back up feeding option. My baby is breastfed a majority of the time, but I wanted to keep a formula on hand in case there was a time I could breastfeed for whatever reason.Baby happily takes the bottle and keeps it down with no issues. We haven’t had any problems with gas or bowel movements either. I will say it does smell a little bit, but most formulas do and it’s not a deal breaker.I also love how the scoop snaps into the lid so I am not digging through the formula trying to find it. The built in leveler is nice too so you don’t have a heaping scoop.

Aptamil is a great European formula. Reasonable cost, good nutrients and ingredients. My baby loves it !The only problem is that recently Oct. 2024 it has been difficult to obtain. Not sure what is going on with the supply chain but when you have a fussy baby and this is the formula that works it’s a very big problem. I wish this formula was either consistently in stock, available in other non- Amazon locations so that my baby wouldn’t run out of food.If we need to switch we will, but then we likely won’t go back….

We bought this product many times in pharmacy and it was great but the one time we bought it on Amazon it had a very bad smell and texture, lot of deposit on the bottle that was almost hard to wash and it was not diluted well at all. Our baby suddenly didn’t like it anymore while he used to like it when we were buying it from the pharmacy.I don’t know what is wrong with this batch but it’s clearly not the same quality.
