Perfect Replacement for Aqua Magic IV
Perfect replacement for Thetford Aqua Magic IV, toilet seat hinges differently so it no longer rubs against the wall when I open it!Installation was super easy! Water supply line aligns the same, but I had to shorten it about 2-1/4" for my application. I chose to reuse the 1/2" FIP connector end that came with my RV, but I replaced the beveled washer. You could also use a 1/2" FIP faucet supply line, as a normal toilet size line won't fit. I also added a shark bite inline ball valve (highly recommended) so I can isolate the toilet. I also recommend doing any necessary maintenance, trim and caulking while you have the old toilet removed. The rubber gasket installs to the toilet first, bevel side facing the floor. Don't over tighten the hold down nuts, just sit on the toilet and tighten by hand, then snug them up until the toilet is seated. Don't use power tools! There were some comments in other reviews about the toilet making a mess when you flush, but I haven't had an issue with the toilet seat down. Also be sure your RV has a water pressure regulator installed (40-50psi)!In my opinion, the Low Profile version is just the right height for doing business (think squatty potty)! I am 6'1" and wear 32" L jeans and it fits me perfectly. If unsure, try sitting on a box that is 13 inches tall first. Taller versions of this toilet are available.Easy install, very sturdy, easy to clean. Would recommend to a friend!

Check out the Thetford 31672 Aqua-Magic V high profile RV toliet... perfect low cost high functioning toliet replacement.
This is a replacement for OME. Went with the foot flush glad I did. The extra height is what I was looking for. No problems at all with the extra inches in the bathroom. I would recommend going with the Thetford Aqua-Magic V high. The design I got was not the water saver model. Great flush coverage and pressure. The back is open to expose the parts that could be replaced if needed. The OME was a sealed toilet I couldn't get to the working mechanism. Still pleased that I just got a new one. Like many reviewers have written, you will need to buy a little bit of water line and connectors to bridge the gap do to the extra height. I got a 90 degree elbow, and one female on both end straight connector that the tube just snaps into. Seal came with purchase and a deodorant for tank. Took about half hour to R&R the project. Make sure to have some tool to scrap the surface clean of any debris and old gasket. One thing I noticed when flushing, the manufacture's design has a small notch close to the water outlet. This is to cause a spray that goes across the diameter of bowl. This gets the seat wet and if you are sitting on seat and want to flush, your tush gets wet. I decided to gently grind this notch down smooth. Still get full water coverage with flush, without the seat and myself getting gently wet. That notch is small, the spray(more like a long spit affect) going across was unnecessary. Will not be missed. Arrived new boxed with packing material to protect the product. Received in two days right on time. I could have got the toilet from other sites. Decided on Amazon, a company I have complete trust with . From their security on line to the products and finally the delivery. I write this review because I am so pleased and getting a working toilet has a certain appeal too. Ha Ha

Water line had to have a 12 inch extension.
The water connection was a foot higher on this toilet than the old Aqua-Magic Starlite it replaced. I had to add a 12 inch extension in order to connect the supply line. Just got a 1/2" female on both ends 12" long extension hose and one 1/2" male to male connector from Home Depot and it worked fine. There is not much info in the instructions on this modification, not even the fitting sizes {all 1/2" pipe threads.} . The toilet easy to install, fit and worked fine. Seems pretty lightly built but I think it will work fine. The old Starlite worked for 28 years, also a Thetford product.

My granddaugter installed this!
The Aqua Magic IV is what was installed when we bought The Lemonade Stand (yes, there's a story 😎)... The lid was broken and it wasn't holding water, so knew we'd be replacing that. Lasted a little longer than I'd thought it would 😁Checked stuff out... Called a couple RV supply places... No one had a low profile in stock, so on to Amazon! I'd been advised that the Aqua Magic V would be a direct replacement, but was a little concerned re "flimsy" build in many of the reviews. There ain't nuttin' wrong with the build on this 💯% ... It feels more solid than the AM IV. It's an RV toilet, so the lid is probably the most "flimsy" part of it, but in the end (no pun intended), it's an RV toilet and not designed to be, or feel heavy like a residential toilet. What I really did not like about the AM IV was the lack of water pressure and ability to actually wash the bowl. That has DEFINITELY been addressed, and resolved with the AM V! They reversed the direction of the flush and... Ta-daaa! Da bowl is clean! Also... The AM V is about 1-1.5" taller... While we need the low profile re riser, the extra height is nice... We're average height, and it's just more comfortable than the AM IV was.As for install.. My eldest granddaughter decided she was going to switch it out. Nope! She's never attempted anything like this before 😳😊... I'd watched s couple of videos, and walked her through it. The toughest part was reconnecting the water line, because there's only like 2" of space behind the toilet. Haha! She got creative and used a hand mirror so she could see what she was doing... Mirror helped in using the 1/2" wrench to reattach the toilet to the floor, as well... It took her 23 minutes because of struggling with the water line 🤗... So proud of her first DIY! We celebrated with dinner out👏🏽💕💯😍In conclusion... Yeah, I'd recommend this... Two bolts and a water line... That's it! If anything changes, I'll update!

Works great
After 5 years, the old one broke in the back from the pressure..... I also didn't winterize it recent year. Instead of going fancy i just replaced with the foot valve version and it's great. When installed correctly the cavity inside the toilet will hold the waste with the ring. Not a picture I want to post.

Best RV toilet out there.
We replaced our old toilet it in our trail lite camper. The toilet is higher and more comfortable. Well made. Was easy to install. Had to buy a $6 fitting at the RV store but dealers have a lot of these parts on hand, did not have to wait. Would highly recommend.

as advertised, and on time
easy to install. be sure to line up hose fitting to toilet as can easily be cross threaded. Suggest attaching hose to toilet before attaching to floor for ease of seeing what you are doing and getting a leak free connection.

Compact and quality
Installed unit in camp using a portable holding tank underneath. Unit flushes good and very stable on floor even though it’s very light in weight.
