Candle Wicks for Candle Making | 60 Wicks with Wick Stickers Wick Holders and 6 Colour Dye for DIY Candle Making Supplies Pack (Wick+Dye)

Haven't had luck with these wicks: in votive-width containers the flame still burns right down without melting the sides of my candles, effectively burning out within an hour or less and wasting all the wax on the sides. Can't see why this would happen when I'm using them on candles that aren't even wide! Tried about 6 different sized, though all quite small, candles now and had no luck, but perhaps they're just better for short candlesticks? Another issue I've found is with the tackiness of the stickers - they've come loose 3 times already even though I thoroughly pressed them into the container. Two containers (both firesafe ones) have subsequently exploded from direct exposure to fire when the wick moved out of place.That said, they still get 3 stars as the pack comes with quite a few wicks, stickers and dyes and might be suitable as a starter pack or for decorative candles that wont be lit? The dyes have lovely colours but don't thoroughly mix with the wax so there is always some light marbling.

These were purchased as a gift, so have not been used yet. As far as I can see the product is as it should be, and I am satisfied with the product. It also arrived a day earlier than first stated.
