It does a great job of filtering my well water and getting it to taste normal lol. the filter lasts about 3 months and is easy to change out . I trust it's filtering out what I don't want to drink. it filters pretty fats too but slows down as the filter fills up which is a clue it's time to change the filter. So pleased with this I bought 3 more , 2 more blue and one pink .

This water pitcher has saved me tons of bottles of water . It does a great job of filtering my well water and getting it to taste normal lol. the filter lasts about 3 months and is easy to change out . I trust it's filtering out what I don't want to drink. it filters pretty fats too but slows down as the filter fills up which is a clue it's time to change the filter. So pleased with this I bought 3 more , 2 more blue and one pink .

This pitcher is durable and well designed. However, the filter takes AGES to filter the water and leaves a slight smell and taste. The filter is the type that reduces lead, but I personally prefer the regular type - they work just as well to reduce other impurities and leave water tasting fresh and clean. ALL Pur filters fit this pitcher, so you can choose your preference.
