Protected me from the edge of sheet metal.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This worked great on the sheet metal that I used as a roof for my quail pen. Put a little glue with it and it stays on.

Update: The seller immediately messaged me to assist in getting the correct product. I'm awaiting delivery of that now but I wanted to let others know of this company's excellent customer service. I've updated to 4 stars and will correct to 5 if the forthcoming product works as advertised.As described, fast shipping.However... I'm trying to safeguard a glass cabinet that has touching glass doors from the inevitable disaster that is broken shard of glass all over my floor. The trim did fit, but immediately started the peel off after I about 3 feet down the door.To settle the debate, the trim is actually cloudy translucent color, not quite white and not quite clear/transparent... no a problem for me.It has been returned. If it had actually stayed on the door I probably would've kept it. It didn't even stay on long enough to finish installation on one 5.5 foot high door.

WHITE is a CLOUDY transparent white for this item.
Misleading advertisement. The ads state it is white, while further down it says it is clear. Be aware if you actually need white. It's actually a cloudy, transparent white. I would return it but I've already cut it to see if it would work for my application (bottom edge above heat radiator for wainscot panel). Unfortunately it didn't due to the appearance. Hopefully I can use it elsewhere.

Place over a pice of sharp metal on bottom glass slider door. Works!

Do not buy
This stuff is worthless. It’s way too soft to stay on anything. I tried to use this to cover a 1/16 sheet metal edge on a golf cart seat. It fits over the edge well but as soon as you let go it just pops off. The rubber does t hold the edge at all. If I hadn’t already cut some of it to length I’d return it. Waste of $15
