This will work for the RGB fans, cooler, and LED strips. I bought this originally for a case that had RGB lighting but with a older motherboard. It needs one SATA power cord plug and one USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. It will control 4 RGB items at once and with the software you can individually change the lights. Some RGB fans daisy chain together if yours do then it will treat them as a single RGB item, same thing if you you buy a splitter.Now even if you do have a RGB connection on your motherboard this will make it easier to treat them as addressable. With this you can easily manage the colors of your RGB fans and LED strips.The logo on the top lights up as well but I think it may only be white.

Functions excellently, the software is great, lots of options for styles, colors, brightness, the Mirage effect on the fans is incredible (individual Hz modulation to create a Mirage effect on the fan blades). It's everything I wanted in an LED controller and didn't realize until I actually owned it.You can Daisy chain off one circuit and achieve the same effects down the chain on that circuit, and set up different circuits for different effects. The YouTube video from CoolerMaster is accurate, there's no deception in the tutorial.I've owned this for a couple of months, wanted to have it a while before chiming in on the review. Still working very well.

I'm so glad this product by Cooler Master exists. They somehow knew there would be a need for software-controllable RGB lighting on older motherboards without native RGB headers. This device connects to a motherboard via a USB 2.0 header and gets power from a single SATA power connection. I used it to connect two RGB LED strips and some LED RAM heatsinks (all daisy-chained together on a single connection).If I had anything negative to say, it would be regarding Cooler Master's controller software. It's not very intuitive to set different RGB levels on different connections. I was hoping that other software (ASUS Aura, etc.) might be able to recognize, via the USB connection, the different LED connections, but that's not the case. So it's yet another light management program to install on my PC. But it does work once you get the hang of things, and it's not a big enough gripe for me to take away any stars. The overall result is exactly what I wanted, so I couldn't be happier.

This thing is a lifesaver for me. I have a case with RGB LEDs in the front panel and I bought a motherboard without an RGB header. The cables and adapters that come with this controller are excellent, the magnets are strong enough to hold well in my case with no mounting hardware, and the software is fairly easy to use with most features you would need. This thing is amazing! If you have rgb fans or any rgb in your build but u don’t have any rgb headers on your motherboard, or you do but not enough, this product will make that change. I connected all rgb fans,lights, everything rgb! To this adapter and now I can control all of them from one software this thing Is a must.

 This is really cool, great way to control the color in your rig. The directions suck tho.. had to do a little research online for help but once it was hooked up and I downloaded the controller program its awesome.

This comes with all the cables you will need in order to hook it up. USB and the rgb cables with double ended male.

Got an MSI motherboard (Arctic Gaming H310m) that claimed to support Mystic Light but turned out to only support a single color, so this item was the ticket to get full RGB control of my IN WIN 301c case LED's.... I also bought the DEEPCOOL RF120 3x120mm case fans to round out the RGB decorations . Works great, jacked in to the spare USB header on the motherboard for control, the bottom of this thing is magnetic so I was able to tuck it just under the PS cage inside the case without having to drill anything anywhere. The cooler master software lets you choose all the different colors and modes from their GUI, ... appears to allow independent control of each of the 4 ports, but I daisy-chained the 3 fans from 1 port based on how the cabling worked out, so not really a need to try that feature out. Powered by a sata power connector. Great product!
