First saw this probiotic recommended in Dr. Gundry's Plant Paradox diet. Many of my leaky-gut-related health issues had cleared up following his diet, but I was still having frequent bouts of diarrhea that went on for months. Doctors kept giving me antibiotics and prednisone over two years, and not one of them ever suggested a nutritional approach. It was only after fixing my diet and avoiding doctors that I started getting healthy.After Gundry's book led me to the Schiff Digestive Advantage Intensive Bowel Support, I was reading the reviews on Amazon, and saw a lot of people with similar problems. I have had remarkable progress since starting the probiotics a couple of weeks ago. I had been drinking Kombucha and Kefir, and recently learned that most if not all of the beneficial organisms are destroyed by stomach acids before getting to your gut. A lot of money wasted as it turns out. The fact that these probiotics are encapsulated in a form that gets them to your gut intact seemed like it could be the ticket to better results. Long story short.....I'm going to the bathroom FAR less frequently, and the diarrhea has abated almost completely. Taking the probiotics is NOT a license to eat whatever the hell I want, and I still follow the Plant Paradox diet most of the time. I know there are some things that will cause diarrhea if I eat them.....gotta be bad sometimes :-)......but the probiotics get me back on track within a day instead of weeks and months. I can only say that my quality of life has taken a dramatic turn for the better since starting these probiotics. And we're saving a ton of money on toilet paper. ;-)

For about 9 months I've suffered from worsening bloating and irregularity to the point where my breathing was affected. I'm fit and yet I would get out of breath and light-headed with tingling in my hands and feet just from climbing stairs! I was constantly yawning and feeling like I couldn't get enough air even when breathing deeply - almost like asthma.Had some medical tests and got a clean bill of health other than IBS - which I was told to manage by diet and good luck with that. This honestly was a GODSEND! I was having some very painful digestive issues after 3 separate rounds of antibiotics. First round was for a yeast, second round was for a BV infection, third was for a UTI. All within 2 months... it was awful. My first round was taken in April and around late May I started having trouble with digestion. I would have painful gas and constipation. Any time I would eat my stomach felt knives and sharp like pains. I'm 26 and I was starting to worry that something else was wrong... so I got fed up with the pain and constant bloating and found this miracle. I was a couple days away from having a colonoscopy done with my GI when i stumbled across these wonderful tablets. I bought this along with Heather's peppermint oil tablets and I'm pretty much 100% cured from whatever IBS related symptoms I had back in May. If you're experiencing similar symptoms or have been told to cut gluten and dairy as well as carbs by your PCP or GI try these along with those instructions and I promise you you'll feel normal again.

Update: I initially reviewed in 2015 and said that this product gave me terrible stomach cramps. I gave up on them then, but tried again about a year ago. I had the same 1-2 weeks of stomach cramps, but this time I persevered, and now it is my favorite probiotic. I have IBS-D, Gerd, General Anxierty disorder which manifests as nausea and stomach/digestive issues, and some minor food intolerances. While this doesn’t cure all, I have the most regular (and formed) BMs (sorry for the TMI) and overall feel better and less bloated while on it. If I forget to refill or have any long break (5+ days) between doses, I go through the same week or so of stomach cramps while my body gets used to it again, but it is worth it. I went to my bi-annual gastro checkup last month (after traveling to Eastern Europe and South America in a 10 day period of time) and he was shocked that I had zero digestive issues.2015 review: Gave me terrible stomach cramps - which many of the cheaper probiotic supplements do - but I hoping this one would be better.

This stuff is the cat's meow. I was diagnosed with Irritable bowel syndrome after a bout of salmonella poisoning. I tried about 6 different probiotics without any effect, changed my diet and was desperate enough to try the smooth muscle relaxant that was prescribed to me. However, it really drugged me out and I was desperate for something else. I happen to see this at my local grocery store and tried it. Within days my symptoms disappeared and this was after suffering for almost a year with the problem. I cannot recommend this product enough. My 35 year old son started having problems with IBS and after trying multiple diferent probiotics without improvement, he finally listened to me and tried this and it changed everything for him as well. Its one of the few times he told me I was right!
