good quality & works well...
HYPERWEAR HYPER VEST Quick Release Tactical Vest Adjustable Weighted Vest (18 Pounds)...I have not heard of this brand but very impressed with this product:++QUALITY & DESIGN VERY GOOD. Easy and comfortable to wear/use and the build quality is really great - everything feels rugged and should hold up well over time.I use this vest when working out sometimes - easy to use and burns some extra calories.Current price of ~$190 (after coupon, don't forget to click) is a higher price point but the quality is there. 4-STAR rating by me in consideration of price/value/choices.

Tough One
This is definitely a 5 star vest, but it has some drawbacks that have had me wrestling with deducting one.I'll start by saying that it's top quality. It's as tough as my plate carriers. I like how adjustible it is. I'm fairly slim, and it will tighten down enough for me (*sidenote on that coming, about the excess straps), the shoulder pads are decent, and pretty comfortable. I like the front phone pocket. You could actually fit a whole tablet in there, if that's what your music library was on.The first drawback, is that it's a little thick. I can still do what I want to do with it (I like shadowboxing/MMA and calisthenics. Haven't jogged with it yet, but that's coming), but a little awkwardly sticking out further than a carrier would. And maybe that would make things easier in a slimmer carrier later, having trained with bulkier weight plates. I guess if you're not all the way LARPING with this thing, it won't influence your movements in training too much. But I tend to think you should train how you fight. So I believe your training vest(s) should mimic your serious business vest(s) as much as possible.Second drawback, is that it will tighten down very well, but has no means of securing the excess, other than running it through the velcro of the hook and loop flap that secures the weights, on the inside. I have some bigger than usual, knockoff Web Dominators I might try, but running it through the velcro is working for now, if not ideal.Last, but not least, and I felt this way before discovering the Hyperwear; I don't understand why weighted training vests cost as much as a fully operational combat vest with real plates in it. I think the whole reason for not just wearing an actual plate carrier with some heavy steel plates in them (if I'm not mistaken), is to keep from getting your Gucci Gear all sweaty/smelly/dirty/roughed-up from physical training. But if it costs as much as a real one to have one to workout in, it's almost like you should just go ahead and get a beater set of plates and carrier to use, that would be functional later if necessary. I debated back and forth about deducting a star for this, but if you look around, everybody's doing it. One of my main go-to brands for this kind of thing varies between models, from a base model that would cost about this much, with some weight plates that came separate, up to more deluxe versions that would be considerably more than this with the plates (though it would be in OD Green or Coyote, look like a real one, act like a real one, and maybe even double as one in real life, by the looks of it). So, there's that.I'd like to see a designated sleeve to run the excess through, or some kind of acessory that keeps it rolled up/secure. I'd like it to look/act/feel/operate more like what you're using it to train for (I'm sure plenty of people ONLY use these for fitness, like a regular weight vest, but if you're getting a "Tactical" one, with laser cut molle on it, you're most likely using it to train for wearing a plate carrier in a emergency situations, or a prefessional, law enforcement/military/security atmosphere. And, like I mentioned already, if that's your purpose, you might as well just get another beater carrier with some heavier steel plates. So, those are my gripes. The quality, comfort, and adjustability are 5 stars for sure, though, all things considered.

Good Quality But Stiff
The quality is good. My only problem with it is that it’s a little big for me and it is very stiff. It’s challenging to do some work outs with it.I like that the weights come in small increments so you have full control of how much weight you add or remove.

Hyperware tac vest 5 star.
In a word it's kinda perfect. I've worn a lot of these and this one is more comfortable, looks better than most, and fits really well because it's not just a plate carrier. The individual weighted units allow it some movement so that it's more form fitting. The weight is distributed around your ribcage some on the front and back instead just hanging off you from one fixed location like with the plates.I have the 20 pound and it feels like almost half that to me because of the way it distributes the weight so evenly.Everything is thick and well made. Stitching looks great and the shoulders are very padded and comfortable. The belt fasteners are heavy duty and oversized too making it easy to get clicked in. Snugs up with a pull of the straps.I did a boxing workout with it and didn't have any rubbing, bouncing or chafing with it. It stays tight to your body without shifting. Really really happy with this.

A Great Weighted Vest That’s Comfortable, Customizable, and Simple
Unboxing: 5/5Great unboxing experience, this vest was wrapped up with every part separate, and arrived very safely.Looks: 5/5It looks great. I do wish it was a little more longer in the vertical direction, but other than that I love it. The Velcro on the front allows you to move the logo and flag patch anywhere you want, and allows you to add your own patches too. The small straps are all very well stitched and are super high quality.Quality / Durability: 5/5The quality of this is amazing, the 0.5lb weight packs inside are small sand containers that fill in little columns down the weight pack. They seem super secure and won’t break on you. The padding is super comfortable, and everything is well made.Function: 5/5It works great. I use it for calisthenics training, and I use it occasionally when I want to make a hike or a run more challenging. Using this more often will make your bodyweight feel super light when doing the same tasks.Value (for the listed price): 5/5Overall: 5/5

A Great Workout Adjustable Weighted Vest!
My son modeled this vest for me! He looks so handsome in this vest! He says it is really comfortable. It was easy to put on and adjust. The vest comes with 5 ten-pound weights. There are compartments for different-sized weights. It is easy to remove or add more. The velcro makes it easy to adjust and fit more securely. The vest is durable and worth every penny. The buckles don't get in the way and do not cause any issues with comfort. We recommend it!
