I bought this book last night and read half before bed and finished the other half this morning. I feel equipped with ideas on where to submit articles and ready to write fresh ideas and recycle a few from my past articles. Highly recommend!

This short book is super easy to read and contains page after page of possibilities and how-tos. Any aspiring or practicing freelance writer will be sure to find at least a half dozen new ideas on where to look for work, and that’s if they only take a small percentage of the suggestions.John is personable, informative, and engaging, and encourages us every step of the way. Buy this book, you won’t be disappointed.

Some of the tips on how to find freelance writing jobs were new to me. I liked that the whole book was a quick read and super concise. The roast beef story had me laughing out loud and made a good point to not be afraid of charging more.

If you're interested in becoming a freelancer, John Riddle gives you the benefit of decades of experience. He shares lots of personal experiences and avenues to find places to submit your writing and actually get paid.

I've studied many writing books, but The Flying Nun, a light Bulb Moment and Me, has to be the best one I've come across in a very long time, perhaps ever! No muddling through hundreds of pages to find what you need - it is remarkably concise, yet packed with useful information, such as how to and who to approach, exactly where to find all sorts of freelance work, what wages you may expect, and a lot more. The book is also written in an easy, natural style with plenty of humor, which made it quite an enjoyable read as well. This fabulous resource should definitely be in every serious freelancer's library. I'm so glad I bought it and will certainly refer to it again and again! Thank you Mr. Riddle for sharing such valuable information with other writers!
