Rock-Solid WiFi 6 Access Point for Advanced VLAN Networks
I’m running a complex network with multiple VLANs (still learning, not an expert), managed switches, and pfSense firewalls. The WAX615 handles it flawlessly once configured correctly. Wireless coverage is excellent on both 2.4 and 5 GHz, and performance is solid for home and work devices. A big plus is its VLAN tagging support — I can isolate IoT, management, and work networks without bottlenecks. PoE+ power keeps the install clean with no extra adapters. One tip: this AP is unforgiving with VLAN mismatches. If your network setup is off by even one VLAN ID or tag, the AP won’t work as expected. But once configured right, it’s rock-steady with no drops. Pros: • Great WiFi 6 speed and range • Full VLAN support for network isolation • PoE+ powered, silent fanless design • Reliable once set up Cons: • Needs precise VLAN configuration • Not plug-and-play for beginners If you want pro-level control in a home or small office setup, the WAX615 is worth it.

Good PoE access point!
So far, this access point is working very well! Relatively easy to set up. Just be aware, it's a PoE device meaning you'll need to connect it to a PoE switch or router OR get a PoE injector. This DID NOT come with a power adapter of its own. Once set up, it performs well and the administration user interface includes some interesting statistics. I'm planning on getting a second one. :) It's a bit pricey, but it works well.

Amazing!
This product is amazing! It’s a breeze to get it up and running. The performance, in terms of speed and range, surpasses what I had anticipated. My only wish is that I had bought these sooner. I’ve completely switched from Unifi to Netgear now. The user-friendly software Insight is absolutely worth the investment.

half the speed of the router
The speed is not half as fast as my router but 300 mbps is still pretty good for most things. It does look better than the tp link which would not display an ssid and the qr code went to an error page, returned it for the netgear. I tried hooking up with a quality cable with no difference in speed, could be slower because its on poe, I'm not sure. I get the same signal strength outside my house in the street, so while it is slower the distance is excellent.

Just like you'd expect
Works extremely well!

Great coverage and manageability
I needed less of these as compared to other types of AP's and I like the ability to manage them via a cloud console. Much better build quality compared to the likes of Unifi and easier to setup as well!

Good router, but does not cover the area it says.
I have a tp-link router wifi, was replaced by netgear. the wifi coverage is the same, the difference is the more bands but does not make the difference. there are other better options.
