Lodge is an excellent company for cast-iron pans, and this pan is efficient., easy to clean, and season. I frequently make cornbread in it, and the even heat distribution makes it rise beautifully and taste delicious.

I never used cast iron cook wear and I'm sorry I never did. I had a bit of a learning curve to understand how it cooks and how to care for it, but it works great. Lodge has a great web site on how to care for your new cook wear. Keep in mind it is a bit heavier than regular pans so be careful when picking it up and moving it.

The perfect cast iron skillet. Although the skillet came pre-seasoned, I season it prior to use. The brush appears to be of a good quality with a sturdy wooden handle. I highly recommend.
