CK Products No.1 Sanding Sugar, Lavender

Used it to decorate Christmas cookies for a bake sale. Nice true red. Much more economical than tiny bottles.

Perfect for my project. I used a mix of water and piping gel painted onto various chocolate dipped treats. I poured the sugar into a ziplock bag. I dipped the treats in and then used a spoon to make sure I got sill coverage (pictures attached). I bought red, black and yellow. There was more than enough to cover all of my treats. I have plenty leftover. (1 dozen cake pop and 3 dozen each of apples and strawberries)

I really like this brand of sanding sugar - have it in many colors. I was hoping this would turn out darker than it seemed to me in the photo on Amazon. You can see how it turned out on my cookies in the attached photo. I still give it 4 stars because they call it lavender. I wish they had more of a dark purple or violet color. I ordered some in another brand and we'll see how that goes....

I use these for sugar cookies for home baking fun and this stuff is worlds better than trying to color the normal table sugar. It doesn't melt like normal table sugar when baked. Yes, it is more expensive, but the final result is worth it to me.

Really fine grain of sanding sugar and it's a very yellow shade of gold, rather than antique gold or something. This is a pretty big bag so it'll last quite a while. I used this to cover the outside of a cake and I still had more than half leftover. In the picture, I covered the whole bottom tier and cake board in this sanding sugar. I was expecting more of a deep gold tone but it came out more yellow. It was still really sparkly and pretty though.

I bought this item but it would take to long to get it. Then, before it was shipped i tried to cancel but it didn't let me and the process continued. So now I have tons of lavender sugar. It's a good brand and product.

I like to bake and this adds a fun sparkle to my cookies. Easy to use of course and cheaper than those little bottles of sugar you get in the grocery store. The size is right to make them sparkle and not fade into the dough when baked. If you like to bake and want to make your sugar cookies look special I suggest this as an addition to your embelishments. Makes and everyday cookie look like a special treat.
