TilleyStandard LTM6 Airflo Broad Brim Recycled, Light Stone, 7 1/8

The wind cord is confusing and I don't really understand it. The cord should go under the chin if you really want to keep your hat on in strong wind... I realize you have had that cord for a long time, but I would suggest it is time to rethink it. The materials in the hat are topnotch and I love the hat otherwise and it fits perfectly.

My 7 yr old Tilley which looked like new blew off my head and took a ride down the Colorado River. This Tilley replacement hat is now made in China instead of Canada. Warranty is less. Had I lot my old had earlier Tilly would have replaced it. Not so on new hat.Old hat was sprayed with Sawyer bug spray for ticks and easy to wash in washer over and over again returning to its shape and not shrink. Have not washed this hat. Hope it performs as well as my former 7 yr old hat.Pricey but a great value for it durability.

Hats from Tilley are not only supposed to function well but also look good.I tried one at a store and it held very well.But the one that got delivered from Amazon looks a bit less firm above the rim and looks a bit crumpled, thus giving a bit of a run-down appearance. Takes away the joy of wearing a Tilley
