UAP 12 Inch iPlate Letterbox - Premium Letter Box for Door Thicknesses Between 24mm - 80mm (Black)

Once fitted this letterbox looks good but despite what the manufacturers say it's a bit of a pig to fit! They supply screws that are far too long and beware if you try to use them you'll end up damaging the letterbox. They brag about the cut line to support either 28 or 24mm doors but it's fiddly to cut and make sure you make the cut with the two halves of the box assembled or else you'll be making two cuts. Even the suggested door cut out size that's quoted in the very poor fitting instructions is wrong! The first letterbox I fitted proved to be faulty with the aluminium coming away from the plastic chassis of the assembly. Luckily Amazon processed a refund for the faulty one and I didn't have to send it back otherwise my front door would have a had a large hole in it! The refund allowed me to buy a replacement, which wasn't faulty.

I ordered this as I thought it looked nice. When it came, it was only the front plate of the letterbox that came. I didn't see anywhere that even suggested that's all I'd be getting. Very disappointed
