Pure & Dry Whisper 50-Pint Energy Star Rated Low Temp Dehumidifier by Aerus

The Pure & Dry dehumidifier ran great for two summer seasons. This year when I plugged it in, it just runs but no longer dehumidifies. I was hoping to get a longer run with it. Our last dehumidifier lasted 8 years. Bummer

We live near the Gulf with high humidity. In a new studio building we went with 2x6 walls and Spyder insulation. That insulated the building so well that the HVAC doesn't run much...which allowed humidity to build up and begin mold. Bought a big box store dehumidifier; took that back because it was noisy and the controls didn't work, so bought this dehumidifier. Works great and quietly, but the only way you can run it with a hose to the drain is to leave it on continuously...with hose to drain it won't shut off when you get to your desired humidity level.

This dehumidifier is quiet & has performed the job we needed it to. Several settings for wherever you're using it. Very satisfied. Easy to empty also.

Love it , have vacation house near water , have dampness sometimes . I use in bedrooms, works awsome .

This product works well with the exception of the bucket overfills before it shuts off to be emptied. So now we don't wait until it shuts itself off we empty it halfway thru to avoid overflow.
