Cuts steel surprisingly well
I was skeptical on how well this would cut through steel, pleasantly surprised and very happy with this blade. Using a cordless skill saw it cuts through 12 gage sheet metal like butter, and after cutting up 2 4X8 sheets it showed little sign of wear and still cut like it was brand new.

Great blade. Will buy more.
Installed on my makita cordless small circular saw for cutting conduit and pipe. Have been running it for a few months and it is holding up very well. Blade stays sharp and fits well. Cuts fast.

Grinds rather than cuts
I bought this blade to cut a piece of 20 AWG embossed stainless steel sheet to size, on my DeWalt table saw. The blade comes with a hole to fit a 1-inch arbor, but it comes with a spacer washer to fit a 5/8-inch arbor on the saw. It works more like an abrasive cut-off wheel than a saw. It forms a red-hot strip of kerf, so be sure to wear safety glasses. It did a fairly neat job, with a slight burr to the edge of the cut.

I had expected more!
I've been looking for an 8.5 in. steel / ferrous cutting blade for my chop saw in order to cut down vertical blind hanger rail(s). The associates were not able to cut to size properly at Lowes after several attempts. I settled for this blade - since 1/4 in. difference in blade size would not matter as I would still have enough depth to cut through the material. I barely made it through 4 sets of rails. The first rail cut was awesome. It was very smooth with no hitches. By the fourth rail - there was an increasing amount of resistance, sparks, and burning of the metal edges on the rail. These rails are made of thin aluminum I believe with a very small steel guide rod for the hanger clips to slide on. To the best of my knowledge I did everything correctly. I had cut through the material really slowly as not to apply much pressure. I used tape around the perimeter(s) where I was cutting. Upon inspection of the blade I was able to see where many of the tooth edges have been sheered off. The blade in no longer useful in my opinion, only after 4 cuts. If someone can suggest where I went wrong, please let me know!

Got the job done - one time use
Gets the job done. Got through a 3/4" diameter cold steel bar (not hollow pipe). Blade dulled, but teeth all survived.

bad brazing on the teeth, not well balanced.
i can't recommend these blades. i got maybe a few dozen cuts in 1.25 sch 40 pipe before it started shearing teeth off and fighting to get through the cut. as compared to the diablo blades that i usually buy i get typically hundreds of cuts before they start to show any signs of wear and then another few hundred before i have to push. not only that but they run much louder and show balance issues right out of the box whereas the diablo blades always run quiet and true. spend the extra 15 bucks on the freud blades.
