It's an OK meter
It's a decent meter but the thermistors are cheap and off from one another and neither responded accurately in boiling water. They're close enough for non critical numbers though. This meter can not be used for critical spec calibration. The meter itself will probably provide you with years of good service but you'll have to replace the sensor leads which appear to be standard plugs. I've already replaced it with a fieldpiece. I'm using this meter to monitor mushroom grow conditions because I can just leave the thermistors hanging freely. One thing to note though is it's battery bounces around freely in its compartment but I resolved that issue by inserting a piece of folded cardboard in the cavity.

Don’t buy it’s very poor quality
As soon as I took it out of box I knew it was rubbishFeels like a cheap toy , screw missing from battery cover, different readings from T1andT2 using same probe

Incorrect temperature readings 5-6 degree's out.
Incorrect temperature readings not helpful when you need to know how cold something is and you have to keep adding 5 degrees to you reading.

Not rated for temperature advertised.
I was planning on using this for multiple applications, though after reading the parts bags inside the box I have noticed it will no work for a kiln thermometer. It is advertised as Digital 2 Channels K-Type Thermometer 4 Thermocouples Probe Sensor Tester Monitor Wired & Stainless Steel -50~1300°C -58~2372°F Temperature Kelvin Scale Dual Measurement Kit. That to me reads as if it will read temperatures up to 2372°F. The information in the box states that the probe with the steal ends will read up to 1292°F and the wires without the probe will only read up to 399°F. There is no possible way to measure up to 2372°F, it is useless for my kiln. I now need to return it, hopefully cost free and purchase a different one that will actually work as advertised. In turn creating me to lose even more time waiting for shipping. I am quite discouraged from amazon overall, they used to be what you expected but now are just like Walmart, advertising a product at a specific price and the product is either not as advertised or not the price advertised. Waist of my time.

Not too bad...
2*F off but its consistent and stable. I don't have problem using it to test refrigeration, just have to subtract 2 degree from the reading. Not sure how long this cheap stuff last but from my experience it's less than 5 yrs, lol. I'm a FLUKE guy but recently Fluke is just as bad or worst ever since they made everything in China now.
