Very handy to have to minimize the number of holes drilled in for bases. They're heavy and stout, but they won't shear under use. Just beware for the arms connecting them, it's easy to add a long moment arm that can yoink a suction cup mount off with all that leverage. Overall a good price, and compatible part with everything.Have had one about 4 years now, in usual summertime car conditions, and the rubber has held up fine, no cracking yet.

I used this adapter to add another medium sized Ram Mount arm.Inside the arm is metal and is very sturdy.

ARKON APT325MM Triple 25mm Ball Adapter is Awesome! Many great uses for these products. In my picture on this review, I'm using a magnetic mount from WizGear that I glued to two ball mounts after removing the screw with the hex key and yes the depth can be raised or lowered for specific cameras, GPS and other electronic devices. I also used a third ball mount with Screw attached and a 1/2 bolt to attach it to a 30lb magnet all connect with an ARKON APT325MM Triple 25mm Ball Adapter and RAM Socket Arms that I use to hold my Smartphones on metal surfaces. The grip is great and holds extremely well. I'd buy again and again!

Using it to split a phone mount in my car so both driver and passenger have a magnet mount, and it holds both phones up just fine 👌🏼

The aluminum arms have some small cracks at the T junction. Doesn't look like the best quality casting.However, I don't think it is large enough for it to break unless I put some MAJOR weight on it.For the price though, the casting should be better.

Really helped me to be able to mount my phone holder and my GPS holder to the same Ram mounting ball bracket. It really works super. It is totally rigid and stable as it is mounted to my handlebar clamp bracket. So much fun to mount "stuff" to my motorcycle cockpit I want another one!!!

I'm using this product for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 9" tablet in my Jeep. It works but the and seems to hold my tablet for off-roading but the balls are made out of a soft rubber and deform when tightening them. Definitely not Ram mount quality but it did fit my needs.
