While not the last word in quality, there is huge value here with almost everything you'll need.
I was looking for a kitchen utensils set to replace our current camping equipment ahead of the coming season and wasn't looking for the last word in premium quality, just some easy to clean utensils that covered most bases. And that's just what this set by Raincol provides. For £30 at time of testing you're getting pretty much everything you'll need for your kitchen, short of items that can't be silicone such as vegetable peelers and pizza slices maybe. You'll be able to cover the vast majority of cooking operations with this set, including measuring cups and spoon rests. It's a very well thought out set indeed. It isn't the last word in quality, I have to be clear about that. They don't feel quite as nice to use as some utensils I've got, and time will tell how well the joins last between the silicone and wooden handles. The storage pot that you'll put all of the utensils in, for example, would struggle to feel any cheaper than the one in this set. My current kitchen utensils are mainly Brabantia Profile Line which I've had for at least 10 years now and are showing no signs of wear. They are genuinely brilliant. I've also added some iNeibo silicone spatulas recently which are top drawer. The Brabantia stuff is anything from £7 to £20 per item though. What Raincol is giving you is virtually a complete kitchen outfitted for the price of 3-4 Brabantia items. And you're going to get at least a few years of service out of them.Realistically this is perfect for the first time house-buyer, perhaps for university students and indeed for campers as I intend to use them. And, for that, this offers incredible value.

Well-made and comprehensive set of kitchen utensils.
The media could not be loaded. I am really impressed with the number of kitchen utensils supplied in this set, all of which are very useful tools. The utensils are packaged in a nice giftable box, but I was a little disappointed to find everything inside was wrapped separately in horrible, plastic bags, which I didn’t feel was really necessary. All of the utensils are well-made and the wooden handles look lovely, as well as being comfortable to hold. The black silicone material is very strong and I like how nothing really sticks to them when in use. After frying bacon or eggs, I just to wipe the utensil with kitchen towel and it looks like new again. I thought that the soft flexible ends on the slotted and solid spatulas would be an issue, but it hasn’t been that noticeable when I have been cooking with them. The silicone hasn’t melted at all either, which is something that I have experienced with other silicone utensils that I have previously purchased. The silicone heads are quite a bit smaller than my old kitchen utensils, but this is handy because they don’t take up so much room when they are hung up or stored in a kitchen drawer. I did wonder if it might be more challenging to flip my fried eggs in my frying pan with the smaller sized spatulas, but I have found that they work just as well, if not better than my previous larger ones.I initially found that the kitchen tongs were a nuisance to store because they remained open all of the time, but when my daughter visited and saw that I was holding the tongs closed with an elastic band, she removed the band and showed me that I just had to push/pull the lever on the top of the tongs to open them and then close them for storage! I have included a video to show this action, just in case I am not the only person who didn’t realise that this is how to work the tongs!I am pleased with this excellent selection of kitchen utensils and think I will probably end up making use of all of them. My husband is going to see if he can adjust the metal hanging hooks for me though, because they don’t fit on my rail very well and are constantly falling off, which can be frustrating.I think this comprehensive set of kitchen utensils would be an ideal gift for students or new home owners and at the current price of £30.00, each item works out at only approx. 88p each. Amazing value for money and highly recommended.

A great set for the kitchen..
The media could not be loaded. A nice little set containing everything you need in one place.Great for beginning a kitchen set up.Contains hooks for hanging the items if required. However, my only criticism would be is that the pot that holds the utensils isn't very solid, and a little bit bendy..Also, the finish on some of the utensils isn't the best with the silicone not having a clear cut edge. This doesn't effect the products performance, but is clearly an aesthetic small fault..Maybe quality control could be a little better.

Very comprehensive set and decent quality.
This is a very comprehensive set. I won't go through what you get but will comment on what's good and what's not so good.Cosmetically they look good. The wooden handles look good and the silicone tips are smart looking. The handles are smooth and comfortable to grip and use. The joint between the handle and head is flush and feels secure, time will tell how well they last.Generally the items are good quality and fit for use, but I'll go through the ones which aren't so good.Th basting brush is a bit limp, works but not the best at moving liquids around. The ladle is very small. The grater is very flimsy and I'm pretty sure won't last long. The storage bucket looks and feels very cheap. The hooks are ok but personally I won't be using them. These were about £28.50 at time of review with a voucher making the items under £3 each which is pretty good value even after taking out the bad bits.
