Excellent book! Greg Gilbert does an excellent job introducing you to the historical Jesus, and highlights the importance and relevance of His claims. Highly recommended for skeptics to learn about this historical figure, recommended for new believers to learn about their Savior, and recommended for old saints to be refreshed by a joyful view of their King.

An amazing book, both for beginning believers as well as those older in the faith as well. It gives a very insightful approach to both the life of Jesus as well as the events and prophecies leading up to it. I enjoyed reading it all the way through, and would definitely recommend this book to my friends!

I love this book!

This is a great book giving you a basic insight who Jesus was and is. This basic insight is helpful for non and new believers and is great for mature believers just to be reminded again. Great quick read.

We use this for our student ministry to give them easy access to a big question regarding their faith! The booklets themselves are paper, so not of great quality, but what do you expect for the price and the amount? Even though they are just thicker pieces of paper, they look VERY nice. The info is accurate and easy to follow, and there are questions throughout that allow for deeper reflection. I appreciate the tool as a starting place for discussing life, faith and God!

Greg writes like he's talking to his best friend, and makes the book, and the story of Jesus, so incredibly uncomplicated. He lays everything out in such a way that is isn't just understandable, it's easy to comprehend - even though the subject is so extravagant and timeless. I've recommended this book to several people already and don't plan on stopping. It made me see the story of Jesus in such a new and beautiful light, and gave new insights on who Jesus was as a Man, which is tragically unusual these days. Many people seem wary to explore Jesus the Man, but Greg dives right into His cleverness, His love, and His devotion to the plan His Father created all those years before. I look forward to re-reading this book again soon and falling more in love with Jesus.
