Eh, awkward to learn to use

Please do not waste your money. With great enthusiasm, we bought this a year ago and with some mild success, I copied a few photos onto the drive and made a back up of some photos. So at the time, it worked. BUT, in spite of updating the app, for the last month, I have tried and tried to copy photos and run backups and it keeps failing. Part way through the process, I get an error message saying that the drive is not inserted. It sure is; the yellow light was flashing just before the error message. This highly dysfunctional intermittent product is a fail. Waste of money and hopes to easily and safely and properly pull photos off my phone once backed up. I’m glad I kept photos on my phone. Sigh. Would like my money back.

Not as I expected
