I really enjoy photography and take a lot of pictures, so I love having an easy way to print some of my favorites at home instead of keeping everything only on my phone. This printer has been great for that because it gives me larger, more traditional photo prints that work well for albums, displaying around the house, journaling, or giving to family and friends. The print quality has been very good in my experience. The photos come out clear, detailed, and vibrant, and I’ve been pleased with how they look compared with the original images. I use this printer when I want something larger and more substantial than a small instant-style print. I also really like the versatility the app gives me. It lets me arrange multiple smaller photos on a single 4x6 sheet. I use that option sometimes for journals when a full-size 4x6 photo would be too large. The printer is fairly compact and lightweight, so it’s easy enough to move if needed. I personally keep mine plugged in on my work desk and use it there rather than moving it around the house, so portability isn’t especially important to me. Since I keep it plugged in, I can’t really judge battery life from regular use, but I’ve never had any power-related issues. One of the things I like most is having this printer alongside my smaller instant-photo printer because the two give me different options depending on what I want to do with a picture. Sometimes I want a small casual print, and other times I want a full-size photo for an album, display, journal, or gift. I’ve gotten a good use out of this printer and really appreciate being able to print high-quality photos at home whenever I want. For someone who enjoys photography and likes having physical copies of favorite pictures, I think this is a very useful purchase.

I will admit, I was very leery about ordering a photo printer from a company I didn't recognize. However, the high reviews of actual quality and photos gave me hope, so I ordered it! I got the bundle pack that came with the printer, 6 cartridges, and 220 prints (several items sent separately but included in the bundle, still waiting for the remaining pack of 80 to arrive today but the rest came yesterday). I am IMPRESSED! As a former photographer, I can be a kind of snob when it comes to quality prints. Ordering from Walmart, Walgreens, or even websites like Shutterfly, the quality is NOT there. I typically order prints through websites like MPIX, etc. They are more expensive and you also have to pay for shipping, but it's worth it to be able to see actual faces in your photos. The quality of these prints are INCREDIBLE! I was taken away when I printed my first image. While it's better than any other printer I've had and better than any local store quality or website quality, I would still say that MPIX and other professional printing companies are better than this printer. The prints are quality enough for me to use at home for albums and crafts, but I would not recommend for a high end photographer looking to sell prints to a client. And it prints very fast - it does yellow, then magenta, then cyan, then it seals the print so the ink doesn't leak whatsoever. This sounds like a task, but the paper is glided smoothly back and forth for each layer - no back and forth ink cartridges doing 2mm at a time. However, keep in mind that this is NOT the cheapest route! It's actually MUCH more expensive. Not including tax, the bundle with 220 prints will come out to roughly 81 cents per image (including the printer itself) and that's if the cartridges don't run out first. Each pack of 20 photos comes with its own carriage, so time will tell me if that is accurate. I do not believe you can purchase cartridges separately. The regular price of $36.99 for 80 prints and 2 cartridges works out to roughly 46 cents per print before tax, so still much more expensive than other sources. However, the convenience is unbeatable. I specifically ordered this printer because I've been creating a scrapbook of my boyfriend and my first year together for our 1 year anniversary (don't worry, he's a sentimental sap and will LOVE IT lol), and it's such a pain to wait for quality prints to come in the mail. I've been wanting a printer for a while, so when I saw the deal I grabbed it! And I am SO glad I did! The printer is literally so small and cute. This version requires the use of its own WiFi Hotspot (it does not have Bluetooth like the newer model), which does mean you will need to connect to its Hotspot and disconnect from your own WiFi. I don't mind this at all as the app still works fine with very little cell service. You can print from the (very simple to use) app or from your photo album directly using the Hotspot (print quality appears the same, but I was not able to adjust the crop using just the photo album), or you can print from a computer using a USB (the printer has a USB-C port) or using the Hotspot. The instructions are very clear and in perfect English. Liene offers a 1 year warranty for the printer as well. The printer tray is removable and opens up to put the prints inside. It only allows 20 prints at a time, which the company took into consideration and packages all their prints into 20 count packs. You just open the tray, put in the pack gloss side up, and insert into the printer. The tray is also magnetic and perfectly sets on top of the printer for easy storage! However, the cord is bulky and does not have a storage location built in so I would recommend getting a bag or box to keep everything in. I'm giving this printer 5/5 stars and highly recommend for anyone wanting the convenience of printing at home and is willing to pay the "fee" of convenience with more expensive (albeit quality) prints.

I have only printed 3 images so far so it’s too soon for a valid review. But I wanted to mention a few things. Assembling the printer went ok. I wondered which end of the ink cartridge to insert for a few seconds, the simpler end. The paper tray had two parts that opened, one at each end. The big one opens to load the paper, the other end opens and folds back under the tray to put it in the printer. I wasn’t sure about loading the paper except I knew that the shiny side was on top. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t matter which end of paper goes in first. I didn’t use the app, I wanted to try printing just from the iPhone, I had never done that before. The main thing is to connect to the printer WiFi. Then in the Photos app pick the photo to print. I had no idea how to print, that was found under the share option (the box with the up arrow). Nothing seemed to happen when I told it to print. It took a surprisingly long time to do anything, the only thing that was happening was that the white light that indicates the power is on was flashing. Then after what seemed like a minute it started to print. That took about a minute. So about 2 minutes total. The result was very nice. After a few days of using this printer I have some updates. So far I still like it a lot, haven’t had any problems so far. Once an image is sent to the printer it takes about 2 minutes to complete printing. For about the first minute nothing appears to happen, once the printing starts it takes another minute. This is for printing right from iOS, no app. I don’t know if using the app makes a difference. More interesting, the 4 x 6 inch prints are actually 3 15/16 x 5 13/16 inches. This may not matter but it did leave a space when I used a 4 x 6 inch frame to frame the picture. Some frames might not have the problem. For my application, which is making a photo bulletin board at church, it won’t matter much except I’m using cloth tape to put a hinge so the print can be lifted up to reveal an added sheet behind it with more details and this sheet has to be the same size as the print. So I have to take into account the actual size. Update Sep 3 I have used the printer maker quite a few prints now. A few times I’ve had problems, but I think they were all user error, my fault. I mostly haven’t used the app but I was having a problem and didn’t know what it was, so I installed the app and tried to print the image again. The app told me there was a problem with the ink ribbon. That may have been the time I put the old ribbon in when I was changing the ribbon. That was stupid but you can tell the old ribbon because it has black stripes showing instead of the yellow color. So the app helps know what any problems are. It can also print multiple images on the paper, I tried 4 of my telescope images, 2x2. I normally print them as 8x10 or even 16x20 so 4 squeezed into 4x6 was small but they look very good for the size. I still like to print just from iOS, without the app. One of my minor problems was that I forgot to switch to the printer’s WiFi. I really like the printer and ordered more supplies. I also ordered a case that holds the printer and some supplies. It was the Riyada case, nice and compact (almost too compact, for a lot of printing extra supplies may need to be carried separately). The printer is not super fast, about 2 minutes for a print. I used it to document a corn roast in near real time and people really enjoyed the prints.

I had some issues getting the printer connected to my phone. I texted their customer service, they answered quickly and helped me get connected. They were wonderful! And the printer prints beautiful pictures.

It's a pretty good little printer. I like how compact the size is and how you kind of just put it together whenever you need it, but can easily move it out of the way if you don't need it. I read a lot about how accurate the colors are on this, so I was excited to try it out since I have a lot of different cameras. I use DSLR's, point and shoots, and my phone camera. So I wanted to see if it could print them out accurately. In short: it can't, but it does a good enough job. No matter the camera, one consistent issue I noticed is that it was printing my photos out noticeably darker than how I was seeing them on my phone and computer screens. In the app I had to turn the brightness up to +10 in order to get it to look more accurate to what I was seeing on my phone. I need to keep testing it out to see if some cameras will require more tweaking in the app to print out more accurately to what it's supposed to look like. The colors themselves seem ok. Not totally accurate, but pretty close. It's not as vivid or crisp as the phone/computer screen. But again--it's pretty close. The sharpness is ok, but not too great. It seems like there's some background processing happening or something because every photo was kinda soft, no matter the camera used to take it. Some photos had artifacting around some parts as if the printer was trying to sharpen them up or something. This was not on the original files. All in all though it's a good printer for everyday photos. Not perfect, but it's pretty good still for the price and size. I'm happy with the pictures and put them on my fridge.

This printer exceeded my expectations. The photo quality is incredible—sharp, vibrant, and true to color. I was honestly surprised by how professional the 4x6 prints look. The setup was quick and easy, and connecting my phone over Wi-Fi was seamless. Within minutes I was printing photos directly from my camera roll. I also appreciate that it comes with 100 sheets of photo paper and three cartridges, so you can start printing right out of the box without buying extra supplies. The dye-sublimation printing makes a huge difference. The photos come out dry, smudge-resistant, and have a protective finish that makes them feel like professionally developed prints. It's also compact enough to move around the house or take with you for parties, vacations, or family gatherings. I've already printed pictures of my family, pets, and vacations, and everyone has commented on how beautiful they turned out. In a world where so many memories stay trapped on our phones, this printer has been a great way to actually enjoy and display them. If you're looking for an easy-to-use, high-quality photo printer, I highly recommend the Liene M100. It's been one of my favorite purchases this year.

UPDATE 9/01/2026: After receiving a wonderful message from the owner of Liene I am giving this 5 stars. Had I realized the newest version of this printer is with Bluetooth I would have purchased that but this will work well enough for my photography collages. And the appreciation of the details of my review including known issues I have given this 5 stars. Thank you! I will be a returning customer for sure. And I am telling my friends about these great printers!!! The main reason I’m giving this 3 of 5 stars is the basic fact this is the ONLY printer I’ve ever owned that HAS to be WiFi connected TO MY DEVICE in order to print. Whereas every other printer (portable and non portable) use the WiFi separately from my device so as not to have to disconnect the device being used to print through. This is extremely annoying AND time consuming. Please fix this simple feature for future models. The 2x3 Liene portable printer uses my WiFi/Bluetooth and I don’t have to connect to it separately. So WHY on earth didn’t you make the same functionality for ALL your printers? Minus one star for WiFi issue. Minus one star for lack of detailed instructions. Print quality is very good which is why I am keeping it.

This is actually the 2nd Liene M100 photo printer that I have bought. I got the first one for Christmas last year, easy set up, easy to use, extremely convenient & prints really nice photos. However, after a few months I was printing out some photos & it just stopped in the middle of printing, needed a new ink cartridge. The photo paper got stuck halfway through, which I was able to get out. The ink cartridge was completely stuck in the printer! I pushed the lever to release the cartridge & it only popped open a quarter of an inch. I was not able to get it out, no matter what I tried! My husband also tried when he got home, but no luck. We emailed the company with the description of what the issue was, to no avail. They did nothing! So I just chalked it up to malfunction & actually purchased a 2nd one. I did so because I really liked the product, it had worked well for awhile & I was very happy with it. I received the 2nd one, set it up, began using it, no problems. Then 2 months after I got it, the exact same thing happened!! The ink cartridge is stuck in there & we can not get it out! I emailed the company again, they did respond, I was hopeful to get this issue resolved. They wanted a video & pictures, which I sent, however I have yet to hear back from them. So I am not hopeful that they will actually do anything about this recurring issue. So just putting it out there, that there can be problems with the cartridges.
