Bread bags. Opinions are divided if using a good quality bag (Not Plastic) will help your lovely bread, cookies, etc. stay fresh longer. We believe yes. Searching for more bags for our homemade goodies, ordered these linen bags. Nice material, no obvious finish on cloth (a good thing for breathability) but the sewing is not good. Inconsistent, skipping and uneven tension in stitching paves the short trip on the road to No Stitching at all. Either return or redo the sewing. Your choice. We purchase European styled bread that comes inside of a brown bag. To keep it fresh during the week, we now place the loaf inside one of these linen bags. The bread does seem to stay fresher this way.

The seams are not finished and leave threads all over the bread. Not happy.

Bags are a nice quality and size
Bags are a nice quality and size. Have not washed them yet but hope they keep their size. Good to keep bread crusty. For soft bread put in plastic first and then this bag...... helps it stay softer longer.
