Wished the pages was a bit thicker but its great. You can put light washes of ink and stuff on it and not have problems.Edit: I tried painting in it with acrylic with a paper in the back of the page and it went went.

I searched everywhere for this sketch book/journal!!!! I knew what I wanted and the size... Store after store had nothing like this. What I would think of as basic for art and writing. Thank you! For delivering exactly what you said you would...

I'm new to trying art, although my mom and 2 daughters are all commissioned artists, so this is the first sketch journal I've ever had. Therefore I don't have anything to compare it to, although my daughter fell in love with it when she saw it lol. Being new to art, I've had to do a lot of erasing and the paper has held up well. All I've used in it so far is graphite pencils and sharpie markers. I did not have any bleed-thru with the sharpies. I LOVE the bookmark built into it, and the whole journal is just plain pretty to look at! I can picture it being a heirloom that someone stashes in an attic to be found 100 years later lol. My daughter was so impressed with mine that she went home and ordered one for herself right away! I was kind of sad that she did, because after seeing how excited she got over mine, I was planning on ordering one for her, for her birthday. Now I have to figure something else out for her lol. Oh well, I can still get one for my mom and one for my other daughter lol. The price, the size, and the quality are all great! I obviously highly recommend lol.

I bought my first book by them 10 years ago and loved it. Now that I’m getting back into drawling I had to get this one.

This notebook is really nice. It’s hard bound with a strap to keep it closed. Pages are thick and feel substantial to write on. I gave it to my son for him to write his stories and he likes it too- he keeps it under his pillow and uses it daily. A good value for a high quality notebook.

This is a very nice qua.ity journal for sketching. It is sturdy and the pages are firmly attached to the spine. I like the texture of the paper for pencils, the paper is probably a little thin for markers. I would slide a sheet of cardboard or thick paper behind it before drawing with markers.It is nicely designed with a loop on the side to hold your pencil, and an elastic band to hold the book shut.
