This weather station is durable, accurate and has great display quality. It functions great and is easy to setup.

First, let me say that in general it is not a bad product. If a person into weather and a hobby and a high interest it the weather all over the world, then this is a great product. Now for the reasons I don't like it. I read and reread the instructions and still haven't figured out how to set the time and current date. I follow the instruction the best I can figure them out, to no avail. Another thing I don't like that it requires being mounted in a certain way, oriented just right. What I have had in the past could tell which way the wind was blowing without regard to the way it was mounted. We just had a little short shower and it was over before it gave the rainfall. I would be delight to trade this for one half the price just to have something to read the conditions. I plan to take this down when the weather clears up and even though I don't still have the original packaging, I would gladly package it up and mail to anyone wanting for half the original price plus postage.

March 25, 2023 - Came fully assembled with very detailed instructions. Did everything exactly as it should have when it should have during setup. Wifi was pretty easy to connect as well. The sensors seem accurate compared to my other stations and NOAA data. The display is just awesome, easy to read from any angle and some distance. I'm streaming to Weathercloud and enjoying that as well. Time will tell regarding durability but thus far I am thrilled with the Raddy L7 LORA.April 8, 2023 - Had some wind and rain weather events recently. The L7 LORA measured rain and high winds accurately with one notable observation to share: it reported false rainfall due to high wind gusts (30 mph plus) moving the pole the unit was mounted on. I have since moved it to a more solid, stable post to see if the falsing in high winds stops. Otherwise thus far it is a good unit and I am pleased with it.December 22, 2024. First outdoor sensor battery change today: 20 months on a set of lithium batteries. Function and accuracy is all still good after this time period. Customer support is great by the way if needed. Still very pleased with this station.

This weather station is what I was looking for. Was a little less cost than like kind locally (Lowe's). I live in the high desert of Nevada and need to get outside for health reasons. Knowing the temperature, sunshine intensity and UV readings are very helpful. Setup of the station was easy. I did have a little trouble with the connection to the internet. If you do not mine the blinking Wi-Fi icon, connecting is not necessary for your own use but, is fun to go to Wunderground.com and compare your readings with others in your area. All in all, I like this station and would be happy to see it in other homes.

After receiving the weather station I let it run for about 6 days. Setting up the sensor is an easy chore. It updates about every 16 seconds which is a little too long for me. The wind speeds are all an average of that time so you don't really see real time speeds , just the average. That to me is the only real draw back to this system. Everything else is pretty self explanatory and factory defaults are spot on. The display is really nice and has everything you need. I wish it ran off batteries and when plugged into the wall the batteries would charge. So if you want to move the display to another room for a time, you have to plug it into the wall for constant viewing. The display goes blank when disconnected from the wall and you have to press a button to see a full display which only lasts a few seconds. It's a minor thing but kind of annoying. Nothing you can't live with. I had to have my son help with connecting it to Weather underground but once done, it's a nice feature. I have had Davis and other makes of weather systems and trustfully this is the best yet for price and features. I would recommend this for purchase. I do wish they sold a separate display for this model so it could be installed in another room full time. I have not verified the claimed distance of 1.9 miles but I will later as the weather warms up. I have only looked at their website and could not find a display dedicated to this model. Overall, it is a very nice piece of equipment and I am happy with it so far. I definitely give it a thumbs up.

First off let me say, I am am not a technical person. The struggle came with getting the screen to read the info from the assembly. I almost boxed it up and sent it back. It took several tries of removing the batteries and unplugging the screen to get the info from the outside assembly. Another Amazon review is what helped me. I unplugged the screen & took out the batteries. Then I pressed the silver Max/Min button on the bottom of the screen as I plugged it in to the outlet. When I released the button, it finally picked up the outside information. The manual also says that the blue WIFI light should be a constant, but it isn't, and it blinks off and on all of the time. However, the readings appear to be accurate. I spoke with another Raddy 7 owner who has stated that his WIFI light has also flashed on and off for the year that he's had his and the readings are accurate. I am going to love this weatherstation.

I bought this model specifically because of the advertised range. Skeptical at first but after quickly firing it up I mounted it on a pole 800 meters from the front of my house and it is working perfectly so far. The monitor is sitting on my windowsill and there are no trees or terrain blocking the line of sight. Just wanted to confirm for anyone else hoping to not spend 2,000+ dollars on a super high end long range weather station. I will push it out to 1000m or 1200m when I get a chance and report back.

Good range and easy to install. The rain sensor stopped working after a few weeks. I looked it up to see if it was an easy fix and apparently it's a common problem.
