Q: There’s quite a few differences in the description. One says 1-5 yrs, up to 58lbs then up to 2-8 yrs, up to 70lbs. Can you confirm?

Please kindly note that there TWO models in the lisiting, one is SINGLE shelves arm wings is suitable for fitting size 1-5 years kids(22-58Ibs), one another double shelves arm wings design is suitable for 28-70 pounds kids( from age 2 to 8 years )!

Q: Is this life guard approved?

Not sure if it is life guard approved, my nephew went swimming for 3 hours and never went under the water with it.. he is 60 pounds and the only problem was the straps on the back side its not where it should be and I fixed ours afterwards at seeing the problem.

Q: Is this U.S. coast guard certified?

No. This is a swimming aid. It is not to be used as a life saving device.
