Amazon Basics Non-Slip Microfiber Shag Bathroom Rug Mat, 21" x 34", White

I was skeptical about washing it, but the tag said it was machine washable. Well, it came completely apart. The top separated from the bottom. Don't waste your money.

I have a lot of problems with this. Even for the incredibly low price I would expect more. This rug doesn't lay flat on the ground, it doesn't look the way it should without a LOT of adjusting just to make it look like a rectangle, and it certainly doesn't stay that way if someone steps on it, no matter how careful you are. It certainly isnt non-slip as advertised. Thin, no traction, no pad. Basically a tiny shag blanket with a thin, sprayed on backing. I'm over all very disappointed. Would not recommend, this is a waste of $12. Go to Big Lots/Marshalls/Target/Home Goods, even Walmart, basically anywhere, and spend the 15-30 for something decent. I didn't send mine back because we are moving and don't have the time, but otherwise this would be being returned. It looks terrible and I doubt it will hold up being washed, but even if it does, I will be throwing it out and buying a different bath mat; I actually feel embarrassed having it in my home

I had been on the hunt for a bathroom rug that would match well with my purple decor. I wanted something that was super soft, yet also very absorbent. This rug is everything that I was searching for at a good price.The bathroom rug color is fairly close to the image shown, slight bit darker. It does stay in place fairly well, although I do have to straighten it out every couple of days. I have washed and dried it, and I have had no issues at all. It cleans beautifully.Overall I am happy with my purchase and would recommend!

These things are so soft, they're constantly getting rumply. I just went in there and snapped the attached photo, and this is what I found. Today it isn't too bad (it's only 11am) - but you can see how a corner is already smushed, plus it's completely at the wrong angle. And I straightened it just last night. {sigh} Now I know that I much prefer a bath mat with a stiffer back, so it stays put.Plus, while the thick pile *is* nice and soft, it gets matted down after the first couple feet walk on it. You have to shake them every single day to keep them looking great - and I don't know about you, but I've got better things to do!Finally, the color: it's a muted, dusty lavender. In my previous bathroom that was all-white, these looked washed out. Now in the new house against the terra cotta tile, it looks a lot nicer.

Have to admit, I'm pretty impressed! Anyone who has moved during a snowy winter knows what a full on mess is. I bought 2 of these rugs for the "new" house, we all made sure to step/whipe our on the rugs during the move in. The two house comparison- New house 90% cleaner with rugs vs Old house without! New house used one mop bucket for the whole house vs two sweeping & four mop buckets for the Old. Oh golly! I forgot about my two lab fur babies!!! They, love any kind of moisture and dirt they can get into, these super soft, absorbent rugs even grabbed the snow/mud from the nooks and crannies of their feet!! Got kids? Got dogs? Got water? Got mud? Get you a rug or two, you'll be well satisfied with your purchase.

For the price, you can't beat this rug. Soft, absorbent and stays in place fairly well. The backing isn't your usual plastic back, rather it seems like it's been sprayed with some sort of sticky material. It works fairly well. I ordered two rugs and one was very lopsided in one corner, driving me nuts. I tried pulling and tugging to straighten it, but no such luck. I emailed customer support and they replaced the rug free of charge. The other rug was a perfect rectangle. I would definitely order again.

Great bath rug. Thick, soft, comfy under foot. It's very absorbent and dries quickly. I'm going to pick up a couple more of these, including one to put on the floor in front of the kitchen sink. It's really nice under my stocking feet when I'm washing up.I have to say I'm really impressed in general with the quality of "Amazon Basics" products so far. Everything I've purchased with their brand has been well above average in quality. Electronics cables (fiber optic, USB, etc.), laptop stands, dish and microfiber towels, and so on. All great quality and value for the money.Highly recommended!

I had never tried AmazonBasics and saw this so I thought I'd give it a go b/c I love Amazon. Well, this was a bit lackluster in its performance. It does have soft microfiber pieces but it isn't as plush as others I have seen and used and also the non-slip back is not that great. The color beige was exactly the color I was looking for though and as usual, Amazon had great customer service for refund/return issues. It might suit someone else's needs but didn't quite work for me.

I have to be honest and say I bought it for the colour and wasn’t expecting great quality but it’s really good quality and doesn’t slip about on a vinyl floor like a lot of more expensive we’ll know brand bathroom rugs do! I’ve bought a second one they’re so good.

Definitely not non-slip: it rucks up as you walk on it and you have to keep straightening it. If you want it to stay in place, you must use an adhesive non-slip backing (but then it is not easy to lift for cleaning).Not that soft on bare feet: you can keel the bobbles.Having tried them for a month, I'm going to abandon them in favour of a carpet-type mat with rubber backing: won't ruck up and will be more non-slip.

I would have given this bath mat a 5-star rating for its softness, colour, and feel … but it dropped a star because it was a rather odd shape … instead of being perfectly square, it was very oddly shaped, not quite a diamond shape, but heading that way! the odd shape wont affect its performance, so I kept it. but it does look a little strange on the bathroom floor. I tried pulling it into shape, and it did improve slightly, but still … not exactly square!!

Very comfortable colour looks good. Very soft on ur feet. Washed in the machine for the 1st time yesterday and surprised how well it cleaned and after drying still delivered softness under ur feet etc.

Bought this as we needed a new/fresher mat for the bathroom.It is excellent value, nice and soft and the color matches with the bathroom scheme very well.It appears to be hard wearing, no sign of fibers coming loose so far.Give your feet a treat ! :-)
