Best Purchase I made on Amazon to Date
This is probably the best $30.00 I have spent on all my years of Amazon shopping. I have been a “cord cutter” for the past three years. I have the usual Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. to get me by. I have used those flat antennas, made my own, and finally bought this one. This antenna gets all the channels in my area with no issues at all. I did purchase 10’ of 1.5” pipe and mounted it to a shed running the cable into my house. The pipe and clamps ran me about 12 dollars total at Lowes.I am able to receive ABC, CBS, NBC, all of the PBS Channels and many more. Currently I am at 58 channels that come in clear and stable. One note is that the 1.5” pipe is not the recommended size but works well. I just took off the two yellow screw knobs and placed the antenna inside. The antenna slips right into the pipe and stays secure, I have experienced some intense storms roll through the area and have had no issues with the antenna. In my situation my antenna stays stationary and I do not need to rotate the antenna to obtain additional stations. So the rotation feature was only used when first setting up the antenna positioning it in the correct direction. It worked flawlessly. I have not used that feature since, so I cannot comment about the reliability of the motor.I received the item fast from Amazon, the packaging was fantastic, the assembly was simple, and the setup was easy. Seriously if you’re still reading this just purchase it already. I will order another one if something happens to this one.

I Would Buy It Again
The control box did not work upon arrival but was quickly replaced by the seller. This was easy to install and works better than my old analog antenna. My wife and I both agreed that the quality of the video was noticeably better than with the analog antenna. We installed this in the garage attic and it pulls in signals from up to 60 miles away, sometimes. We live about 30 mile from the closest station and we receive most of those signals fairly well, but the signal is not much stronger using this antenna. During storms the signal comes and goes like it did with my old antenna. I don't have a signal meter in my TV so I cannot give numbers, only impressions. The remote control has a single button that randomly rotates left or right with no apparent pattern. So using the remote without being able to view the direction of the antenna turns into a guessing game and it's not one you will want to play for long. Overall, for a low cost, HD antenna I would recommend it. It does the job as long as your not expecting perfection.

I might have to buy another one...
This antenna works flawlessly. If you're looking to make a purchase, don't want to break the bank, but you live a long way away from the signal; I would urge you to buy this product. I does have two outputs for TV signal, but I split mine into 6 different signals and I live 70+ miles away from the closest signal. I get great reception. Using Windows Media Center I'm getting 35 digital over-the-air channels that are perfectly clear on my 50 inch. HD signal is amazing! It truly is a great product once you get past the look of it. It does seem flimsy, but it sustained 30 mph winds without any hiccups. The rotator is nice if you don't want to climb on your roof over and over to make minor adjustments. I haven't tried to point it anywhere else because I'm content with the signal that I'm getting. For the mount, I used an old Dish mount on my house with some galvanized pipe from the worn out trampoline cage with a PVC pipe in the middle for the mount. I had to put some filler between the pipe and satellite mount, but it's sturdy and holds direction just fine. My father bought a high dollar antenna and It looks super strong (and it might last longer), but it doesn't get any more channels or better reception than this one does. He has had to get on the roof a lot more than I had to. So there's that... I figure if I had to buy another one in a few years then I'm still paying less than he did.

Get what you payt for.
I put mine on a mast about 15 feet tall outside like it is interned to be and now get some channels over 80 miles away.I went from 3 channels to 37 . All crystal clear. I can't imagine how many I would get if I did this in a city. Being way out in the country I did expect to get more than 10 or 12 channels. What a great little cheap priced antenna.UPDATE: DO NOT TIGHTEN THE COAX CONNECTIONS MORE THAN JUST FINGER TIGHT !!!I was adding a DVR to the mix and just hand tightened the coax back on to the controller box and it snapped inside and does not work any longer. While this antenna does bring in channels really well and from far away ,the control box is very cheaply made. Be very careful with it as it is a junk. It all worked fine until I broke it. I did nothing but hand tighten it well and SNAP. It now does not work. Trying to find a replacement now.
