Nice
Very happy with these. Optics are great, bright and clear and seem well built. Also pretty easy to cart around as quite compact which is why I didn’t go for the 10x42 version. Recommended

Quality weather sealed Nikon compact binoculars with 10x magnification and bright image
My Nikon PROSTAFF P3 were a review sample and didn’t come with a cardboard box or strap. So, I can’t comment on the strap quality or length. I did get a padded case for the binoculars and used an unused camera strap with them. They P3 10x30 are compact and lightweight which makes them great for walks or taking on vacation. My callipers measure them at 122 x 128 x 48mm (though I can’t measure the centre thickness as the arms aren’t long enough so it’s the depth of the tubular section.) If you aren’t using the padded case, you can fold them up and they become even more pocket sized. You should get a strap and you can just hook them around your next or shoulder; the sub 500g weight shouldn’t be noticeable. The P3’s are rubberised on the outside which makes them easy to hold. They also survived a torrential down pour as I walked along the river this morning without any fog on the inside so the sealing to keep them waterproof (1m up to 10 mins) works well. There are 3 controls; you can adjust the depth of the eye cups and there is a focus ring in the middle. I wear glasses and I found the best use was without them, extending the cups out and focusing with the dial. The eyecups are rubberised and soft but hard and don’t provide a seal to your eyes. I was able to get a good single circular field of view. The image was bright and colours on the water birds I was snooping odd looked good. The 10x30 refers to 10x magnification and a 30mm objective. On my walk I found the field of view to be good; though as with most magnified optics I found it better to sight by eye and then switch to the P3’s a lot of the time. If you are going to use them in lower light, you may want to look at the wider objective options or the 8x version as you will be able to use them longer. Weighing in under 500grams these are lightweight, and I didn’t have an issue carrying them around for a few hours – the rubber grip working well even in the rain. The p3’s don’t have image stabilisation – nor do they have a tripod ¼-20 thread if you wanted to support them. The optics as you might expect from Nikon are very good. The control dial makes it easy to get them sharp in the centre and I was happy to see the image stayed sharp in the corners. They also survived their first brush with the UK weather and didn’t fog up even when used in heavy rain.

You Won't See Into The Future, But They Have A Good Range
I know Nikon for camera equipment and did not realise they made binoculars as well so thought I would give these a try.The binoculars are very good quality small, lightweight and feels good in the hand made with good quality materials.I have only owned one cheap binoculars before so I have not had that much experience with them but they seemed good to me BUT then I tried the Nikon Prostaff P3 and there is no comparison this is top quality.I admit it took me a few minutes to get this working properly for my eyes I did not realise you are better off doing one eye at a time making the adjustments then when that is done then adjust for both eyes I found this a lot easier. The picture quality for me is perfect crystal clear they do let a lot of light in which is good but for me this fades the colours slightly almost as if it is over exposing the image (Sorry I’m comparing this to photography) this might be normal for binoculars I don’t know or could be I need to adjust/focus it better I’m no expert on this subject. They come with a nice case to keep them in and also with what I will call them protection caps for both ends of the binoculars which is a nice bonus.Overall I’m very happy with the Nikon binoculars and recommend.

Lovely binoculars
These are really good binoculars but then you would expect that when they have Nikon written on them. You can see the quality of them straight away. They come with the usual caps for both ends, a strap and a smart bag to keep them in.I am not an expert when using binoculars and don’t know a lot about them in general. I can say though that these seem very powerful. The vision is great and I have been impressed by them. They are smaller than I expected which is good. They are nice to hold and are water proof to an extent. The listing claims that they do not fog up but I haven’t been in a situation to support that claim. Price wise I have looked at others and these are certainly comparable to them. I think they are a great buy for people like myself that have not owned any before.

Not well made
Used once and plastic retaining one of the eye pieces fractured allowing the lens to fall out!

Amazing quality
If you're into walks, going bird watching and similar activities these are a great addition. I don't have any others to compare against but the quality is very impressive and they look very professional. They come with a nice secure case, caps on both ends and a strap. The view through them is clear and bright just as you would expect.

Lightweight and easy to hold
These binoculars live up to the Nikon name. High quality optics and solidly built. Excellent eye relief for those of us with thick glasses. Easy to focus and comfortable to hold. They are smaller than most binoculars and just the right size. The image quality is great and I like the fact that this model is rugged and waterproof.
