Could not get the stick half way down the tube and it stuck and bent into

Had to take a couple of the twist out on the dip stick to get it to slide all the way down in the engine oil.the twist in the stick did not match the original stick, so i used a pair of needle-nose to get a couple twist out to match the original stick . then the stick was able to go all the way in to check oil properly.

Metal is thinner than original - not as rigid - can not insert all the way before it stops as if jamming. Very sharp edges, cut my thumb a couple times trying to guide in the dip stick tube. One star review because you can’t select zero stars.

Perfect fit, exactly the same as original and arrived way quicker than expected. Even though it wasn’t prime, free shipping and it only took 3 business days. It is the right one for the Diesel engine and worked and perfectly marked for proper oil level.

Edges on dipstick are not smooth. It looks like when it was stamped out of the stock metal no attempts were made to smooth out the edges which cause it to hang up in the dipstick tube and if not careful could cut someone.

This is absolute junk. Don’t waste your money. The metal is half as thick as the factory one. It isn’t even strong enough to go down the tube and make the bend without wanting to kink. A few more times and it would break off in there.
