G GradualMen's Hiking Cargo Shorts Stretch Quick Dry Outdoor Tactical Shorts for Men with Multi Pocket for Fishing Casual

When I purchased these light grey shorts, I had originally thought that they were just great looking. I thought that I would be wearing these on weekends, going to the grocery store, etc. I didn’t realize that I was going to like them as much as I do. And, even though I know how well rated they are for hiking, and fishing, I didn’t think that I would use my shorts for that.I was able to order a size smaller shorts since my hiking has paid off as I hoped. These shorts were something of a reward for me. Little did I realize that I would be doing my hiking in these shorts. I thought that they were too nice to hike in, but I have come to find out that they are very durable. I was surprised how much elasticity the shorts had in them. My wife was worried that I was going to rip the seams apart, but that didn’t happen. I’m also really thankful that the shorts are UPF 50+, water repellent, and have 6 pockets that are going to store pretty much everything, and anything, that I need to do almost any outdoor activity.The reason that I will also be hiking, and fishing, in my new shorts is that they are really quite comfortable. More so than I expected. I might be the best dressed man fishing, but that is the way that it will be. I didn’t realize that these shorts were so versatile and good for so many things. I do love the light grey color though. That is exactly why I ordered them.There are a couple things that I’m not completely thrilled with, and it’s my fault for not reading through all of the manufacturer’s information. They are, and easily become, pretty wrinkled. They still look good, even with the wrinkles. Also, I will need to hand wash my shorts, and that is the most dreadful chore that I can think of. It doesn’t say anything about drying so I’m going to assume that I need to line dry them. These are great shorts, even if I don’t like to hand wash clothes. I’m looking forward to more hiking with them, and perhaps purchasing some new pairs.

Great shorts, very light weight and fabric feels smooth and somewhat water resistant. Its not waterproof but its totally ok for light rain. I use them almost everywhere now.I do wish they would offer better belt for it. The belt is pretty cheap and comes off. But i like the shorts.

This is a cheap pair of Chinese Amazon hiking shorts. You kind of know going into it you're not getting REI level quality, and they quite literally feel cheap.That being said, they are comfortable. I don't expect extreme durability for these but they feel extremely light and are nice on hot days. The pockets are kind of awkwardly placed but still appreciated. I like the little pocket just below the belt for storing a knife.

I've been wearing these shorts for a few months to work now. Bought 2 pairs so I could rotate and get a good idea on how they are. Overall: Not terrible but not the best; a few drawbacks.Pockets are excellent, especially the small pocket under the carabiner ring attachment. Great if you don't want whatever is attached to the ring to constantly hit your leg/hip. Zippers on all pockets seem pretty sturdy, and the number of pockets is great.Belt is a no, got a new one that fit the same. It has a pressure release, not a buckle. You press down on one side of the black plastic buckle and it opens. Had a few times I would be in the back of truck lifting a heavy box with the help of my hips and BOOM, it would unbuckle my belt. So any kind of lifting where something could hit that pressure point could mean everyone seeing your undies. Not fun.The material is strange. When I first got them delivered, I seriously thought of returning them instantly. They felt like a thick tissue paper, something I was not used to in pants/shorts at ALL. While yes, it is good for water and sweat, it looks weird. Any time bunched up, you're left with STRONG wrinkles that do not come out well. They say waterproof but honestly I think they do so good in water because they're thin enough to dry out quickly. Too thin, dry quicker.Overall I still wear them, still work in them, but I'm still looking for better upgrades. You'll have a better time and better luck if you shell out a little more and hit your local outdoors store. Not the cheapest, but better quality overall. If you need something quick and cheap you can use for a short while before you can afford/get a better upgrade? These are ok. But you want something you can absolutely rely on, I'd look somewhere else.

Really been liking this Gradual brand in other styles, thought I’d try this design. Another 5-star rating. Great design, super lightweight - almost feel like you’re not wearing them, nice pocket placement with smooth working zippers, nice array of colors. Stitching is very precise but only single row, so only time will tell if they hold up rugged outdoor use like hiking and sitting on rocks, etc.. The fit is perfect as with all Gradual products, I’m slender and a true 34.5” waist and these size 34 fit perfectly. Not sure if this brand would fit someone with large stocky thighs, maybe. Elastic is only on the sides and does allow for next size up such as a 35” waist could wear this 34” size. New they’re a smooth poly look, not like organic natural faded cotton which some prefer, but I think this synthetic material can fade in, show some distress and have a more worn-in look just by washing and wearing. One thing for sure, if you live in a warm to hot humid climate, you’ll love how cool and comfortable these are. The black belt is included.

I wanted a pair of shorts for project and yard work in hot weather. These are great, they wear well and look like new after a wash.

Comfortable. I like the fit, and style. Good Quality.. Material is a little thin, but ok.

Very cheap material used, extremely light weight, no quality, Chinese company rip off. I would not pay $1.00 for this super cheap pair of shorts.Not at all like what you think you see in the picture.

I live in a very hot climate. These shorts are perfect for my region. They are light, comfortable and practical. I will buy more soon.
