DALY Li-ion BMS 10S 36V 15A PCB Protection Board with Seperate Charge and Discharge Protection Port for DIY Electric Tools 18650 Batteries

I updated the two 12 volt batteries in my son’s MX350 electric dirt bike to LiPo batteries. It worked well until he would go full throttle, then the BMS in the batteries would shut the battery down completely. The BMS was only rated for 10 amps so I assumed I needed a beefier BMS. These BMS’s are rated for 30 amps but they do take up more room so I had to attach them to the top of the battery case. The hardest part was taking the battery apart since it was glued into the case. I had to cut open the case and then glue it back together when I was done. The new BMS is well made and comes with good instructions. The modified batteries work perfectly now and don’t cut out at all. Great upgrade over the original lead acid batteries.

Used it to replace evolve carbon BMS when I switched out the motor controller for a VESC, I have only discharged so far have not charged but everything seems fine. Through the old BMS I was only getting 36 volts but when I tested each of the cells were at 4.2 volts once I hooked this BMS up I got 42 volts on the other side of the BMS I don't know if that's just because of the way the evolve bms is set up to be only compatible with their system and cut off at 32 volts but it does seem more efficient.

Seller was great.. Had the tracking information so I could follow the shipping from Chain and then through the states.. Works as it should charged no issues.. At first I was kind of panicked that it was showing B- 12v after I set everything up...?.... But once I hooked up the charger it showed the right voltage.. Charged and all was good.. So I ordered 1 more.. Wish they were in the US so I don't have to wait..

Wiring it, when you connect the black wire into your charging circuit, it must connect to the battery pack ground, in addition to charging ground, otherwise you get an open circuit, and NO output at all. Wired mine CORRECTLY, and all is working as it should. I have not installed the Battery Pack yet, so other than bench Testing, I cannot review how well this BMS works. I will add an update in a week or so.

Nice 3 wire bms at a good price the two wire units are better for the less number o wires for hookup!

The first one, I got, only lasted two weeks before it died. I ordered another one and it was DOA. No matter what I did I could not get it to wake up. Daly used to be a good product but not anymore.UPDATE: I requested a return but the return code they provided was not prepaid. I would've had to pay $14 to return a $16 item. I contacted the seller and they said to keep the BMS and they would refund my money. It's been three weeks and still no refund. I have the feeling I will never get my money back.
