Easy to use great texture

So far this growing medium has been great! I only have 4 that did not germinate. I am hoping they continue to progress after I transplant them in the forever home. These are definitely more cost effective than rock wool and haven’t developed algae yet.

So I wanted to compare these sponge cubes versus rockwool cubes for lettuce sprouts. Side by side the rockwool sprouted much faster. Not sure why the white sponge doesn’t germinate. Out of a sheet of 24, just 3 and they seem stunted compared to the rockwool. The sponge doesn’t absorb liquid like the rockwool as well. The price is great but the results are not good. I was hoping for the sponges to work. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? But side by side, the rockwool germinates better.

These were squished down and didn’t expand out even after they were wet. They work for what I needed them to though.

The media could not be loaded. I personally love them. They're dual sided even! You can start large or small seeds in these. The quality is great! Nice value as well!

These do NOT break down...unlike the coconut fiber & soil plugs, these remain in the garden. I've been pulling them up while prepping for the coming season and it's just annoying. Do NOT recommend!
