A/C Compressor Control Solenoid Valve - Compatible with Audi, Volkswagen - AC Compressor Control Valve - AC Control Solenoid - Replaces 1K0820803E - 2005-2019

The right part for my car. AC works well after replacement and help to save thousand dollars to replace the compressor. Need technican for installation, not recommended for DIY.

I have to say that this product is amazing, I take my golf tdi to the mechanic to see if they could find the problem on my A/C and they want it to change the whole compressor for $1,000...so I start reading on the internet about other options and I found out that this cars on particular have problems with the valve attached to the compressor.....so I decided to give a shot, just to see if I could fix the problem and it did.. this part works amazing i installed myself whitout a problem...all I have to say is that not pay attention to negative comments...you're gonna safe a lot of money, people who write bad comments is because they probably order the wrong part for the wrong compressor

I have done several of these valves from different suppliers. This one is junk. Before installing this valve the AC was cold but took 10-15 minutes of driving at high RPMs to get it that way. After installing the valve, the suction (low) side goes to relatively high pressure (80+) PSI after just a few ounces of Freon and won’t take any more. I suspect this valve isn’t actuating and the compressor won’t suck Freon into the low side port. I’m going to reinstall the old valve until I find a replacement that isn’t junk. Update: I reinstalled the *old* valve, evacuated and refilled with R134. The system pulled in the Freon no problem and I’m back in cold air. The valve I bought here is definitely defective and I’ll be returning it.

I installed this in my friends 2014 Volkswagen golf when her air conditioner quit working. I captured the R134 refrigerant in the system, pulled the clip out of the old solenoid and put this one in. evacuated the system and put in new R134 and it the system cools like it was new.

Only thing keeping it from a 5 star review is that I had to remove material from the black plastic cap. The diameter was larger than the original part’s. All of the other measurements were an exact match. I’m guessing it was a manufacturing tolerance issue? Full color, easy to understand, installation instructions are included if you need them. You may need to spray the snap ring with a penetrating oil as there’s likely to be corrosion buildup on the ring and compressor housing.

The dealership wanted over $1200 to fix the AC on my car. Then I saw a couple of YouTube videos that said most of the time the problems I was experiencing (AC barely working, and only intermittently) was fixed by this valve. So I bought this part and had a local mechanic install it for me. Now my AC is working like new and I saved well over $1000!

Good product, fit my vehicle. If your vehicle is having trouble switching the ac compressor on, this may be necessary. I was able to replace mine just lifting one side of the car up with the jack stand meant for tires, from there I could remove my snap ring and pry the old solenoid out. Because nobody else before me had done it like that, it was kind of a learning experience and took a bit longer. I made sure to recover my old freon before proceeding, and I made sure I vacuumed the AC lines afterwards, before I put the new freon in. Autozone will loan you the vaccuum pump for free, with a security deposit. Don't be afraid to push hard when you put this solenoid in or you won't be able to get your snap ring in right.

Works perfect. My 2007 Jetta 2.5 is now blowing great AC cold air. Also feplaced the cabin filter and the airflow increased dramatically as well (very dirty filter).

疑心暗鬼で買いましたが届いて交換する時に見比べたら形とかが違ってたけれど取り敢えず付けて始動したら完璧にガス漏れも無く直りまし、この部品を知らずにコンプレッサー交換してたら何倍ものお金がかかってたかと思うと良かったです。
