An executive backpack
An executive look with great quality backpack. Size and weight are excellent for carrying a laptop and other necessary accessories.There is only one bottle holder and internal pockets are limited.

Close to ideal
I was looking for a travel backpack that would count as a personal item. The dimensions might be a tad big according to some airlines, but the backpack fit under the seat in front in every case so far. What I like about the backpack is that it’s just one big open area with a few addition pockets (keeps things simple). I can put my camera equipment and some extra clothing inside the bag. Material is excellent. It has a strap to attach to your suitcase handle and comfortable shoulder straps with sternum strap (very important). What I don’t like about it is that the compression straps don’t allow you to then open the bag up without undoing the buckles. I ended up cutting them off. Another thing I don’t like is the front zipper is hard to access and leaves off 1/3 of the bag above.

Great material and decent pockets
It has great design and the materials feel premium. I like everything about the backpack. Sometimes it feels small when I take it on trips. For everyday use is great and looks nice.

If you want a compact backpack with a premium feel, look no further!
Great backpack. Timbuk2 bags always feel extremely durable and high quality, and after a few months of use make you think, “This bag was totally worth the premium.” That said, know that this is a pretty small backpack. For my partner, it can hold two textbooks, a laptop, iPad, pencil case, and some toiletries (tissues, chapstick, bandaids, etc), but barely any more. Squeezing a jacket in, for example, would be a stretch. My partner is 5’1”, and this backpack sits just above her belt line. For short people like us, this pack is awesome! If you’re looking for a compact backpack that looks and feels great, don’t second guess yourself: this is the one! However, if you’re looking for a bag with a bit more space, I’d recommend the Authority pack deluxe. The design is very similar to this one here, but you get a second large compartment and a more spacious main compartment. Overall, the materials feel premium and the straps and back padding are really supportive and comfortable. It looks true to the photos in the listing. Highly recommend!
