Has a Total On/Off Feature
Received mine yesterday so this is obviously a first impressions review. I have several of the "Milk House" heaters in various models. Based on the control knob arrangement it appears there are basically two generic models out there under various brand names. One type with a single knob control and this two knob model. Many of the reviews on the two knob model seemed problematic. Which is why I originally opted for the single knob version. Those have worked great and I have had no problems. I needed one to fit under a desk and wanted a darker color to blend in. Most the other models are a light gray. This one is slightly smaller than the single knob version, is almost a black finish or very dark grey. The fan is very quiet. It is right under my feet and I have to listen for it. The other feature I like is it has a complete "off" setting on one knob. The others can be turned off by basically taking the thermostat down to the lowest setting but that still leaves a glowing indicator light that cannot be turned off short of unplugging the unit. We will see how long it lasts.

Good bang for your buck
I did not buy this on Amazon. I bought it at my local Northern Tools store front.I've had this little heater for about 2 weeks and it's done great.Warms up a 15'X21' room with 10' ceilings adequately. Keep in mind it has only dropped to 55F. I don't expect this small thing to work miracles once we hit freezing though.

Fire Hazard - Do NOT buy!
This thing is a fire hazard. I've had it 4 weeks, with on and off use as supplemental heat, and it's shooting sparks out of it when it tries to turn on (thermostat auto-on). If I wasn't sitting near it when this happened it could have been bad...do not buy this!
