Works great wish I bought earlier

Solid knife for carving, very comfortable handle. Out of the box it was very sharp. For my work Thanksgiving lunch, I carved more than 10 hams and 12 turkeys with ease with this knife.

These are great hunting knives i dont care what people say! Some people swear up and down saying the knives they own are the best and they paid 200.00 but for me id pay 20.00 to 400 dollars for these knives and they work better. Ive butchered caribou moose and bear with these knives and they never go dull on me. I sharpen before starting and i dont have to sharpen them again. Awesome knives for the buck?

This knife was very sharp right out of the box. This is my "BBQ knife", meaning I use it for all things grill related. I've literally used this thing as a spatula, a bbq fork and of course as a knife.The "spine" of the knife is very thick and this thing has some heft. Not sure what else to say, it's a 10" very sharp knife and it appears to be very well made.UPDATE- 8/21/19 Four years later this knife is still awesome. I give it a few passes with a honing ceramic stone and it stays super sharp. I recommend storing this in a sleeve and not in a drawer full of loose knives.

Great knife for the money!

I purchased this knife for my husband who manages a butcher shop. After discussing how the knife works for him, he said it is a good knife. It does have some pull (when you are cutting it goes against you a little and resists the cutting motion) so after longer periods of usage, it can cause your hand to become a little sore. But he did say it is still a good knife for average use, and he would purchase it again.

The blade is not very sturdy. I was trying to cut ox tail with this knife the other day and the blade tried to bend on me. Never knew sturdy American steel to bend like that. However the knife is very light and that is a huge benefit.

Blade was already very sharp when I unwrapped, needed no further sharpening. I used it not only for hacking and slicing meats, but also for slicing up vegetables. The blade has some thickness at the spine, so it can also be used for chopping -I've even chopped open coconuts with it. When I'm barbecuing this is the only knife I need. I think it would even make a good camp knife.
