Good Stories for teaching kids
Good Stories for teaching kids. My kids love these movies and they learn from the stories. Helps them to visualize the Bible. I highly recommend this series is the most accurate I have found and is neutral on Christian religions.

Religion DVD
My husband and I purchased this movie for our 4 and 3 year old children (one whome goes to religious ed weekly). They really enjoy sitting down and watching this movie, they call it "jesus movie". However, they have commented that its a little long. I recomend this movie!

Another amazing Moses story!
I loved this cartoon especially watching it as an adult. I like the fact that even a child can understand the meaning. The concept is simple but entertaining!

A useful teaching tool for parents, especially if each DVD is purchased for $5 or less.
I bought the entire collection of both the Old Testament Bible Stories for Children, and the New Testament series as well. Although the Japanese-based animation is the same in both series, the flow of the storytelling and the music soundtrack is much better in the Old Testament series (although I must admit that on some of the DVDs, the story could have been shortened by 5 minutes or so). Both series are geared towards children, and it is the reason why the violence and attempted rape scenes were removed but still referred to, so that the view understands the context of the story. This is a great series for children to watch and learn about the Old Testament. It is a useful teaching tool for parents, especially if each DVD is purchased for $5 or less.

absolute fantasy
This was one of the worst bible story dvds I have ever watched. The people that made this dvd have clearly never actually read the bible. I was so disappointed I Threw it in the bin. I mean they actually cremate Moses when he dies. I do not recommend anybody wasting their money on this dvd or any of the others made by them. I bought a few other at the same time that all ended up in the bin also.

A Very Good DVD from A Very Good Series!
This is a good animated story of Moses geared for children. Given the off-screen and mildly graphic violent content/scenes, I would still advise parents and teachers to explain/discuss the context, and to prepare the children before viewing the DVD. Personally, I think that this DVD (and the entire Old Testament Bible Stories for Children series, which I own) is best viewed by children 12 years and older (if they are alone) and around 10 (in the presence of a parent/teacher). The animation itself is above slightly average, but at times the narration of the story tends to slow down the pace and may affect the children's ability to stay focused. Overall though, it is a very good DVD from a very good series; an effective tool to help teach children about the Bible.
