This material is not Ophthalmic Grade.
Looking through this stick on Lenses is like looking through a jar of water, not like looking through a pair of glasses!

very poor optical quality
These lenses, and another brand I tried, also manufactured in China, are very poorly manufactured. Unlike the stick-on lenses these are copying (made by Optx called Hydrotac) you can't read text through these lenses without distortion. No flexible lens is going to look perfect when you inspect it with a magnifier, but these are particularly egregious. There are striations and waves of imperfection across the lenses, with many distortions at random across the piece. When you put these in your readers or sunglasses and try to read text, it is very plain, by moving your head across the page, that the magnification very poorly imitates an actual lens. The Optx lenses were also never perfect when you looked AT them, but when you looked THROUGH them it was amazing how clear they were. Apparently Optx has either gone out of business or ceased making these. Their website and phone number no longer respond. That is a real shame. Look, in many cases, Chinese products are quite good. I have commonly found them to be equal to or superior to what used to be made in the US. Not these. I have become dependent on working at my computer with a reading glasses strength appropriate for viewing the monitor, and the stick-on lenses only used for looking at printed materials much closer to my eye. Before Optx came along (over ten years ago) I had to keep glasses of two different diopters and swap them. If Hydrotacs are now gone and these Chinese companies (who use a much thinner vinyl-type material, by the way -- which they claim with stick without water) don't step up their quality control I guess I'll have to go back to the old way once I lose my last pair. That's sad.

Sticknon bifocals for sunglasses
They were too large to fit into my sunglasses and also didn't really stick well

Alignment
Aligning these up in a pair of safety goggles took some time, I got to the point of where I could deal with what I had to read then took them off as soon as I could, then of course I had to drop one and couldn't find it then a girl from housekeeping found it when sweeping the floor, I sanitized it and used it. I didn't try them in any other glasses, they are big that's why I got them for my safety goggles. But if I had to wear safety goggles more often I believe I would try a pair of bifocals made right in a pair. But these came in handy for a emergency .
