Aqua Lung Sport Nautilus Roll Up Snorkel

I've had this for over a year now for use with Scuba diving. Anyone who scuba dives knows that traveling with all the equipment you need can be a hassle. This snorkel rolls up into it's holder nice and tight, taking up as little precious room as possible. Best of all, it worked great! Even in strong currents where I was concerned it would flop around, it held straight and had no issues. I also like the adjustable button clip to attach the snorkel to your mask. This allows quick and easy dis-attachment from your mask without having to pull the entire band off of your mask (like many other models) messing up the perfect fit you already found.My wife liked it so much I had to get her one too.

As a scuba diver I’ve been diving for 12 years and I have gotten to a point in my diving experience where I do not like to dive with a snorkel attached to my mask but I know that I need to have a snorkeled available. As a rescue certified diver this compact rollup BC pocket snorkel is perfect from Aqua Lung.

Good no frills snorkel. I did not want a purge valve, check. Soft and comfortable mouthpiece is a bonus.I would recommend this product..

This is my third Aqua Lung Sport Nautilus Roll up Snorkel…I use it all the time for free dive underwater photography as a quick streamline go-to snorkel. I don’t even actually attach it to my mask strap hold …I just tuck the breathing tube under the strap when using and it stays in place perfectly. They use good silicone and it lasts for-ever and comfortable. I have a lot of diving gear and snorkel set-ups for different needs so I ordered a third one for convenience…the other two have lots of water hours and are still in great condition.

This is such a cleverly designed snorkel that is very convenient for travel. Because it “rolls up” you can easily store it in your luggage for those quick dive or snorkel trips. According to Various scuba organization regulations You must have a snorkel on you when diving, but many divers don’t like leaving one clipped to the mask as it could become a “hindrance” to neck movement. This snorkel is a great option to handle that as the design allows it to go into a bcd pocket or clipped to a D ring. The only issue I have with this one is it does not have a splash guard like the one from Scuba XS (cargo snorkel); and that’s the only thing keeping it from getting a full 5 stars. In the photo I have it attached to an Aqualung Reveal X1 mask.

Pros:Can be easily carried in BCD pocket as safety measure when scuba diving. Not wearing a snorkel under water lessens drag and doesn't get in the way.Has enough rigidity to stand up out of the water when unrolled.Good quality rubber (plastic?) stands up well to salt and sun.Cons:Would not recommend if you are buying this for freediving, snorkelling etc. There are better "rigid" snorkel solutions with stay dry valves etc. and the cons for this activity greatly outweigh the pros.

Great product! This is the best snorkel I have found on the market and worth the money.
