Straight outta the box ••• Perfect !!! Light weight •• Total Visibility •• Excellent manufacturing •• extra's in the box •• string carrying bag •• Perforated rag for head and lining inside helmet. Haven't even got on bike yet, just sitting around on porch.... Can't get over how light this helmet is !! Extremely small Con / Needs to be wore and broke in ..snug at or just above ears. Glad I used Sewing Tape Measure to measure my head before buying, never the less-- sure it will loosen some and break in -in no time at all. UPDATE : After several hours of riding , very impressed!! Visibility and comfort are King •• the light weight made all the difference•• Only draw back , after close inspection.. The foam inside is not cut as well as I'd like •• dimensions of foam cut , do not look universal however, this is NOT a deal changer and very pleased with purchase.

I bought the helmet, my order was M size carbon without visor, i received the item and it is with visor, S size and had visor Dots that i really don't like. I tried but I cant return the helmet because i live in Georgia (country) Tbilisi, and transportation costs me a lot from my country to US and Back again so because of this mistakes i cant use the helmet that i wanted long time. As it is known Daytona is really high Quality protection and appearance product. I really like it but cant use it…

Totally worth getting. I literally ride for hours on end with and without my windshield this helmet feels weightless and extremely comfortable. My helmet didn’t come with a buckle it’s the old fashion clip that you have to slide through just in case anyone was wondering. And not to mentiton they look really good no mushroom look. I wear a 7 1/2 hat so I got a medium fits perfect.

So I've tried a lot of helmets and reading reviews on the Harley-Davidson forums I decided to pony up for the carbon fiber Daytona helmet. I've worn it on a few rides now and I'm super happy with it. Fits into the pannier on my Road King when I'm not using it easily and it's super light weight. Highly recommended if you want something comfortable and light.

This is a nice helmet. It is pricey, so it should arrive perfectly packaged. There is no plastic wrap, no tags and the helmet bag has the string pulled out of it. The helmet was not even in the bag, and it is scuffed in spots. I have a big trip, leaving on Wednesday, so it may have to do, if I had time, this helmet would be returned today. The helmet is comfortable, lightweight and fits properly. My issues are with the shipper/Amazon, not Daytona.

Seems like a nice helmet but is a mushroom head. I was planning to return it but decided to keep it for passengers that don’t need to look cool.

Man I simply love my Daytona shorty. Been riding for better then 45 years. Hate the "hats" that obscure my side vision, block my hearing, and most of all turn with the vast majority of "hats" after an hour of so they felt like my freaking head was in an oven. This carbon fibre shorty is very light, hardly notice it, no ear blocks. no freaking oven head, and I keep my side vision. Sure a half or full face "hat" will provide more safety for the head, but I feel they will contribute to an accident in and of themselves. Also got another for the wife, she loves hers as well...... I'm a medium and that's what I purchased. By all rights it fits perfect, however it is sitting on my ears and pushing them down to the point that I can't wear sunglasses or goggles. So weird, I've been riding since the late 70's and have over a dozen helmets and never experienced this before. At one point I had to double check that I might have put it one backwards. It's certainly not to big as far as circumference goes, it fits fine, it just drops way too low. I purchased it because I wanted a lighter helmet and knew that carbon fiber would be just that. Very disappointed in fit. The medium is a pretty small helmet to begin with, so it's not the sizing.
