I bought this for my bench and I'm happy I did. Quality and finish is good. I saw a review that said you couldn't use the bracelet mandrel but I found that if you loosen the clamp to the bench you can slide the bracelet mandrel in and it works great!

It’s been awesome till the screw holding the ring mandrel stripped and wouldn’t hold it anymore which was the main reason I bought it.

Right out of the box, the knob used to secure the anvil to a bench was broken. See picture. I used a pliers to turn the screw to secure the anvil to a bench. That worked.The surface of the anvil was not flat and it was very poorly finished like it had been finished with course sandpaper and the were several pits in the surface.I should have returned it immediately but tried to flatten it with a mill file to see if I could polish it. The metal worked bizarrely easily and immediately glazed my file. I tapped very lightly with a very small hammer and the surface of the anvil dented as easily as dead soft copper.I read the description more carefully and only the mandrels are made from hardened steel! I have no idea what the anvil is made of, but it is absolutely useless as a jewelry anvil.The bench pin is tiny and it mounts below the surface of the anvil so when you are cutting or filing, the anvil is in the way. I should have figured that out from the picture but I didn't until I saw it in person.The bracelet mandrel is tiny. It is less than an inch and a half at the widest part of the small end and less than two and a half inches at the widest part of the large end. It is also so short that the steep angle makes it useless as a bracelet mandrel unless you want tapered bracelet.The ring mandrel has sharp raised lines and numbers that catch as you slide on the ring and marr the inside of your ring. Since I had already modified the anvil to try to get it to work and figured I wouldn't be able to return this set, I polished the ring mandrel so see if it could be salvaged and I was able to polish it. It did hold securely in the anvil but the knob shown in the picture was not provided and the sliding rod used in to secure the mandrel stuck up above the anvil surface when the mandrel was secured. If the surface would be usable as an anvil, this rod would be in the way.I wish I had just returned this right away and not tried to make it usable. I may contact the seller, PMC Supplies, LLC to see if I can still return it for a refund but I don't have high hopes. They clearly know this is useless as an anvil as the description states that the mandrels are hardened steel and doesn't mention that the anvil is not. I also notice that in the photos in the description the surface of the anvil seems to be out of focus so you can't see what you are getting.I would have been much better off with a quality ring mandrel and a clamp for the $69.95 I wasted on this set.

Was really looking forward to this package, def worth every penny, I mean I haven't found a bundle such as this for this price, so I believe it was fair deal. Everything in tact, excellent packaging, was worried about the wooden component, all is well and holding up.
