New BalanceMen's 577 V1 Lace-Up Shoe

Hubby loves them. He said they are the best style of New Balance for prolonged standing and walking. He appreciates that the extra wide is truly extra wide.Shoes appear well made and durable. Nothing flashy about these shoes, but they are comfortable and practical and the price won't break the bank.

I'm 72years old and am on my feet for many hours a day (yes I still work for a living). These are the most comfortable New Balance shoes I have owned yet and I've been a customer for a lot of years now. They fit perfectly and are true to size. Very nice looking shoes. I would definitely buy these again.

I have been using these for about 1 month now in both a warehouse and retail setting, so lots of walking, standing on concrete, and asphalt. These have done great for the punishing conditions I’m in and have helped reduce fatigue from long hours on your feet. My one complaint is that they do not breath very well. That might not be a fault of the design but me not looking closely when I purchased the shoe. As I go through work shoes quickly I’ll be buying another pair of these soon so is there really any better way to praise a product other than buying it again.

Hubby liked fit of New Balance and in black so like shoes vs sneakers. BUT this pair was very narrow, and too tight. We looked for exact number of last pair he got, but they are out of stock. MAYBE this pair in WIDE will get the job done.

I usually wear an X-narrow shoe (AA), but those are hard to find. I got this in narrow to check it out. It fits well and is very comfortable. It's also much cheaper than the X-narrow options available. I'll be getting this again in the future.

This my pair number five of New Balance walking shoes, they all feel great and wear well, this my first pair of any shoes in more than fifty years that squeak, what can I do to stop the sound, it`s very embarrassing to walk in a quiet place.

Pros: comes in various widths, always a plus with New Balance. Looks good as a work shoe. Wide toe box. Decent support. Not that pricey.Cons: not particularly comfortable. Upper is supposed to be a mix of leather and synthetic, but really, it feels like you have a plastic shoe on your foot. Tongue is definitely not leather and does not seem to breath at all, which makes for a clammy foot. If you want a shoe for walking, I suggest looking at one of their better ventilated running models.

I had purchased a pair of these shoes at a local shoe store. I like them so much I ordered two more pair via Amazon. These shoes are specially comfortable for people who need an extra wide fit and to allow orthotics to be placed in them.

I have New Balance 2E (wide) shoes and they are wider than this supposing extra wide size. Thought it just needed some breaking in, nope, wore it everytime I went out, still very narrow.
