For teeth that want to sparkle or at least make you feel like they do...........
Got this on a Today's Deals offer and took advantage of the price considerably less that the RRP.This replaced my old Oral B and I love it, teeth cleaning is almost an excitable pleasure using this, almost ergonomic and tactile, it feels good in my hand and I love the brush head, it feels that it's doing a proper job when using it. Didn't take long to charge, turning it off is a bit confusing because the lights don't go out and you think it's still on draining battery - that said, it's still good. I ordered two at this price, so now, the Mrs and I both can have Hollywood smiles without visiting Turkey - well, nearly!

It’s a good quality toothbrush!
When I looking for a new toothbrush I wasn’t planning on spending over £100 and that’s with the discount. I wouldn’t have paid the full price. This is the mid tier model. That being said I’ve enjoyed using it. I literally use my phone at the same time and I can see the coverage I get, the time, adjust modes, set goals I want to achieve like whitening or fresh breath, remove plaque etc. definitely see a difference.Battery is decent. It uses roughly 5-6% per 2min brush. The whitening mode tends to have a faster speed which will use more power.I found my teeth to be sensitive after first week but that may be cause I wasn’t brushing properly and needed a good clean. If you want whiter teeth and better oral care I do recommend this. If you see it around £100-130 mark pick one up. It’s a good quality toothbrush. Comes with travel case and extra brush head case. I picked up extra heads too and I’m set for the year.Oral B if you see this. Sponsor my YouTube channel 😂 shooting my shot.

This has transformed my brushing habits
I bought this on a black Friday deal for almost £90 and it was the most I have ever spent on an electric toothbrush. However, it was excellent value.I am a sucker for gamification and the app with it's Bluetooth connection and confirmation when I have cleaned my teeth properly has won me over.I was sceptical that it could properly tell where in my mouth I was brushing but after repeated expensive visits to the dentists where I would be told that I needed to be better at cleaning my teeth and that my teeth were getting worse and worse because of my inability to follow the simple process of cleaning my teeth properly, and the frankly embarrassing repeated demonstration of proper brushing techniques to me as a man in his fifties, this has revolutionised my brushing skills. The app tells me when my teeth are clean and my dentist and hygienist tell me how improved my teeth are.I find it takes a bit longer than the dentist promised and it is about 2 1/2 minutes to get the all clear on my teeth from the app but this quality of the clean is far higher than before. It comes with it's own travel case which means it goes wherever I go although you can't fit the charger cable in the case so it may be a little more awkward on longer journeys.A single charge will last me about a week and so it is usually not a problem for a week away but may be an issue on longer journeys.

Aim for the stars
These IO toothbrushes are great. My teeth feel dentist clean after I brush. The different modes are good and helpful to have the timer. It feels like a quality product. I am incentivised to get starry eyes at the end of my 2 minutes.

IO series 5 toothbrush heads
Got on a package deal, so good price otherwise can be expensive. But the brush heads and electronic toothbrush as a whole, is superb and in my opinion the best out there.

It’s a con.
This has to be the worst toothbrush I’ve ever had. The on-off button only works if the toothbrush has detected movement….which is annoying. Because sometimes it doesn’t detect movement. So I put the toothpaste on the bristles press the button the start brushing and the thing hasn’t detected I’m trying to use it. I keep pushing the button and it takes a few attempts before it works. The battery doesn’t last long either. You’d be best to charge it every night. The head doesn’t click on flush with the handle. It’s like there’s a jam or something preventing it from clicking all the way down.My teeth didn’t feel clean after using it. They didn’t feel dirty but compared to a manual toothbrush, it’s pretty bad. The brushhead was huge too so if your cheeks don’t mind a bit of scraping from it, it’s bearable. The weight isn’t distributed evenly and when you go to put the toothbrush down (in the upright position), it takes a second or two to balance it. So just lay it on its side. All round, it was uncomfortable to brush with and the so called ‘smart technology’ is in dire need of upgrading. It says ‘100% cleaner teeth and healthier gums in 1week’…..that’s absolutely false. My gums didn’t feel better after using this brush. Like I said, a manual toothbrush was doing a better job. I opted to use my manual one until I could afford a new electric one. I just wanted the simple ones they used to sell. But everything is in ‘smart mode’ nowadays so it was hard to find one. This toothbrush does not need to be so ‘smart’. Because it’s the most frustrating, uncomfortable, expensive, pointless toothbrush I’ve ever had. It’s smarter than me though because I was stupid enough to buy it.
