This is a very ‘kaam chalau’ product, meaning it is average-low quality but because of its low cost and bulk, it might just work out for you. Here are the pros and cons.I ordered a set of 50 red ribbon lanyards and plastic ID tags.Pros:1. Cheap2. Comes in bulk3. Ribbons are clean and bright4. Plastic tag is soft, flexible and standard ID card sized5. Fast delivery, no packaging issuesCons:1. Quality:a) The metal part of the ribbons shows black spots, signs of rusting and corrosion. (see attached photo). The metal is not shiny like new.b) The wire twists in the metal part are not cleanly cut in some of them and have sharp edges.c) Out of 50 ordered, I received 42 proper plastic ID tags. 6 were substandard, inflexible, unfinished plastic tags, where the hook hole was not in a margin, but on the main pocket itself. So whenever you need to insert a card, you need to take out the whole ribbon and hook, instead of just sliding it in. (See photo)2. Quantity- 51 ribbons but only 42 proper plastic tags, 6 wrong plastic tags and 2 plastic tags missing.So out of the order of 50, I have 42 correct items (assuming I don’t consider quality)3. Assembly required. Ribbons and tags are given separately.So, who would this work for? Well, I’m using it for a kids informal get together at a gaming zone so that they do not lose their play cards! Also, I don’t need all 50, so I can pick and choose the best ones. I would not recommend this product for formal situations. If you are buying this product, do keep a buffer in the quantity ordered.Since I can’t give it 2.5 stars, I’m rounding it up to 3 stars.
