Wow! Hot, intense & sexy!
Carson & Tawny had a secret hot & heavy romance while attending college. Together they explored their feelings & sexuality. Due to inexperience & a lack of communication, they broke up & Tawny was left with a feeling of shame & confusion about the things they had experimented with. Determined not to put her heart on the line again, Tawny started playing it safe. Now a respected perfumer, Tawny has come to New York to finally deal with her feelings for Carson.Carson Bad has never gotten over his college love. Even though his job gives him access to people's secrets, he's only looked her up once. When he found out she was married & seemed happy, he tried to move on. He has never forgotten her. Now, she's here, in front of him in the hotel lobby & he finds out she's no longer married. The desire is just as strong & all consuming. He has 4 days & 5 nights to make her see she should have never left him.Wow! The heat radiates off the page when Carson & Tawny are near each other. Melissa Foster can express more emotion & intensity in a short sentence than most any other author I've read. The characters are well developed & defined. During the interactions between Tawny & Carson, it actually seems like the real world recedes & there is a bubble enclosing & isolating them. The sexual scenes are well written & tasteful. I liked the fact that the experimentation was two innocents trying to find what they both enjoyed. From the scene in the cab, Ms. Foster drew me into this story & hooked me so that I couldn't put it down until I was finished. If you like hot, sexy romances, you won't want to miss this one!

Puts other billionaire romances to shame.....
First of all, let me just say that Carson is a billionaire and like so many other billionaires in romances, he can be very *ahem* experimental in the bedroom. However, that's where the similarities end. Unlike other books, there's a huge emphasis on the romance. In other words, it's not about what you're doing, it's who you're doing it with. It's not the act itself that's exciting for Tawny; it's the fact that Carson is with her. Also, it's very clear throughout the story that Tawny and Carson actually care about each other outside of the bedroom, which makes it very believable when they do fall in love. At no point are you wondering, "What does she see in that jerk?"Plus the book is about more than romance and sex. It's about finding yourself and learning that it's never too late in life to take risks. And then it wraps up with a very sweet and heartwarming ending, worthy of a Hallmark movie.Five stars all around :)

OMG, The Bad Brothers Are Back and Carson Is Smokin' HOT
I have never read a Melissa Foster book that I didnât love, with a capital L and just finishing Bad Boys After Dark, Carsonâs story, has left me swooning and sighing.Ms. Foster has magnificently captured the essence for me, of what romance should be. Beginning with friendship, then easing into passion and trust, Carson and Tawny share so much more than their intellect. Meeting in college, their uniqueness blends together making them a very special couple. When Tawnyâs fears get the better of her, she leaves Carson behind to find a semblance of control over her life. Her experiences over the next 10 years have more than just matured her. She recognizes that part of her soul has been missing without Carson. Returning to New York from Paris where she has been working as a Perfumer, perfecting her craft with individual fragrances, she reunites with Carson in order to get closure. What takes place at this point is the stuff of dreams, in all their glorious splendor. The dialogue is brilliant with sensuous yearnings and sexual escapades that, by Ms. Fosterâs creative hand, only offer fulfillment and satisfaction of the best kind. All of the Bad Brothers are smokinâ hot but I have to say Carson ranks at the very top. Iâm just sad that I have to wait until mid-March of 2018 for Brettâs book. Well, time does go quickly. Kudos ~ Bravo ~ Well done!

Hot, steamy, and oh so delicious!
This book is perhaps one of my new favorites.Carson and Tawny have a huge history together that leaves quite the emotional and physical pull. It's such a history that makes it impossible to forget, and really who would want to in this case? However, as in most cases, life happened. There was a lack of communication in the past that mixed with naivete, youth, and the misunderstandings that a young relationship often face to end their friendship.Life entered and the search to be normal happened for Tawny. Carson became introverted and hid himself even from the members of his family becoming even more private than he had been before.10 years later and the rules have changed. Tawny seeks out Carson in an effort to reconnect. She hopes that she can fix things and that she isn't too late! The two of these characters are just an amazing mix. The unsure nature of Tawny mixed with the alpha Carson make your heart swoon and set the sheets afire at the same time. Read the book! You won't regret it!

Just a Tad Too Schmaltzy
While I've appreciated Ms. Foster's take on minimizing angst and replacing it with mature dialogue, this story of Tawny and Carson was just too, too schmaltzy.Nothing went wrong. I mean absolutely nothing. The biggest moment was merely a blip on their love radar. I needed to check my blood sugar levels while reading this book.I'd given books 1 & 2 three stars each and felt they truly deserved them. This one was not in keeping with the same maturity and growth, it was OTT schmaltzy. If Ms. Foster's final book in this series is the same, I'll be done. Boy, I hope it's not the same, it's hard finding a really good writer.

Another amazing book from Melissa Foster
Another amazing book from Melissa Foster.I had been waiting for this book in excited anticipation and it was just as good as I imagined.I loved this book due to the longevity that their feelings spanned for one another, showing that even despite obstacles they always knew that they were made for one another The book is raw, and tells a story of a woman trying to overcome desires that she was not accustomed to, whilst battling not to allow them to consume her. It's nice to see Tawny's journey and to know that despite life taking meanders she is still led back to her 'constant' and the path that was destined for. What is special about this book is that the hero and heroine have undeniable history but have not given up a hope of being reunited. It's nice to see them work as a team no matter what to overcome the obstacles presented to them.Familiar faces (as always) feature in this book and it has made me look forward to reading Brett and Sophie's story! (Please let it be soon!)I would recommend to anyone who loved reading slightly darker romances, series or is wanting to try something different.

Hot! The best bad boy yet
WowâŠâŠ this is the only word I can use to describe this book.I have loved all the After Dark stories â both the Wild & Bad boys but this one has to be my favourite. I fell in love with both Carson & Tawny from the get go and was so disappointed that the story had to end.If you have enjoyed the other books then you are going to love this one.Carson is very much the quiet brother; keeps his feelings to himself and believes that he hides it well. He has always loved Tawny but didnât realise how much until he lost her.Tawny has been in love with Carson for over 10 yrs., the feelings she had for him in college have not changed even after getting married, getting divorced and also losing her father. If you love silk, cashmere, a bit of naughty and spice then this book is for you.

Hot and heavy
As an avid fan of Melissa's books this book did not fail to impress me. Carson Bad is a total alpha male who has always been in love with his best friend from college, Tawny Bishop. Tawny has always loved Carson but a misunderstanding drove them apart for 10 years. Tawny finally decides that she wants to explore her love for Carson and they meet. What follows is hot, heavy, scintillating and above all else extremely romantic. I felt as if I could physically touch their love it was so real and this is a gift Melissa Foster has that draws me in every time. Everyone will love Carson Bad.

Craving Carson <3
I was waiting for this book...and I wasn't disappointed. Mick and Dylan Bad were tough acts to follow, but Carson is rather enigmatic. He has always been the more quiet and aloof brother, but under the surface?...boy, is he packing some heat! And he has the biggest heart <3When I read in Dylan's book that, after discussing a charity fundraiser in aid of their younger sister - who died from leukaemia aged eight - he promptly went round to his mom's house and threw his giant self into her arms, well...I was mush. I just knew his book would be an emotional read, but sexy, too. He is the whole package, ladies, let me tell ya. *swoon* Now, how is Brett gonna top that?

Brilliant
Omg really loved this romance story and I just think I fell in love with Carson's character. He is such a possessive man and wow.Tawny loved Carson since college but denied her feelings until she went looking for him and found a lot more.Living the characters can't wait to read Brett story.

Better & better
I had a great time _listening_ to the excellent Audible recording of this thoroughly enjoyable book !Luckily, for me, I have read many of this author's books and never, ever, been disappointed. This has been a great story and even though they are great 'stand-alone' stories, I'm glad I read these in order.(The narrator has a beautiful voice & his 'spoken words' complement these books brilliantly)

A brilliant read
A brilliant read from Melissa FosterCarson Bad is nothing what I thought he'd be and Tawny Bishop is the girl to bring him to his senses he is the most reserved but also the most loving in my opinion so far and his love for Tawny is in his every breath. The only criticism I have is the story fells like it isn't finished and I could have more from them
