Are able to put these eggs back together? I got one from the dollar store and seems impossible.

I have not been able to. There were 2 kids and 1 adult trying to hold all the pieces together and they were so delicate that any pressure busted the egg pieces apart.

Is it common to get an empty egg? I bought 2 single eggs, in packages at a local store today. First time buyer. 1 egg was empty.

I have never gotten an empty! I would go back to the store or contact zuru the company who makes them!
