Good shoe for the Money
The shoes feel very comfortable, they are shoe laced, I need to get back in the habit of tying shoes so used to 3 velcro straps, this shoe does have one velcro strap but it's right where you tie the knot when you tie shoe, they are comfortable felt snug at first but after a couple of uses feels fine, not a bad shoe for the price.

Good Price for a Solid Shoe
Seems like a quality shoe, not too comfy, but sturdy and functional.

Sleek look, grippy, good sizing
I love the sleekness of the shoe, streamlined like a bike shoe should be. Not bulky.Sole is grippy so it works well on a MTB flat pedals if you want.Cleats: Yes, they are recessed and fit SPD and can be adjusted forward/backward left/right. But I don't think they're recessed enough for walking because I can hear my cleats hit the cement and scratch. Plus, the sole/shank is stiff (as it should be for biking) so there isn't that much flex for walking.Nonetheless, it might be the cleats I have (though they're pretty standard). And walking around with the shoe with cleats isn't a usual thing bicyclists do much of anyways.Clipping in: Some reviewers complain of the difficulty in clipping in. With all clip-in shoes it takes some getting used to so first-timers have to practice a little and eventually it becomes natural - even in a recessed clip. And further, it might depend on the location of your cleat, where you feel most comfortable, so there may have to be some adjustment. Yeah, adjusting is a bother taking the shoes on/off/unscrew/rescrew/try again/ blah blah blah but you'll have to do this with any shoe! Lastly, adjustment of the pedal clip tension is important as well to be able to clip in and out. And don't forget that the clips eventually wear so it might be easier after a while to clip in but then after a while more you need to replace the clips.Sizing: I wear US 10.5 and ordered 11 which fit real well. Heel holds well.

Fine shoes, except the lacing
The shoe is adequate overall. They’re comfortable and they seem to be holding up well. My only regret is the lacing style. I thought these would look closer to street shoes when I stop riding and grab a beverage, however they have a Forrest Gump orthopedic vibe. In my opinion, laces plus Velcro are a hassle without adding any value. If I were to buy another pair, I would find one that is Velcro only.

Work great for daily fitness road ride and mountain biking.
These have been very comfortable so far, just had them one month. With the thick sole, the SPD cleats don't click on the floor in the house. Good traction in the dirt when walking. I like that they are smooth and easy to clean. A basic black shoe that doesn't scream "biking shoe" when I walking around in a store. I expect they will be good for touring.
