Love the characters and so easy to read. Have bought the following books! I’m hooked! Shame they are not available as the 10 books in a bundle to make it more affordable

I really enjoyed this. I found it quite a page-turner. I had previously read a novella giving the background to why Freya Bloom is in Lincolnshire taking some time out from her job in London and I was glad I did as I felt like I understood her a lot more from the beginning.She is seconded to the team when the body of a teenage girl is discovered on the beach, annoying DS Savage who thinks he is in about to head up the investigation. I enjoyed how these two characters got under each other's skin and how their relarionship slowly thawed. Ultimately the story is one of secrets and it seems every character here has something to hide. I'm immediately seeking out the next one to read.

I enjoyed the style of writing.easy to want to keep reading.several nights until 2 am . I will certainly read the next in the series. Highly recommend the author and Wild Fens Mystery books thank you Jack Cartwright.

Norfolk Mystery again enjoyed this so that’s another reason bought the trilogy .Interesting plot different part of country to normal

Another female detective with big problems! I read the first two books in the wrong order. Both of them hinged on non-binary relationships - and both were well written and with complex plots. I hope they’re not all going to be about sex and secrets - and also that the ‘sparking’ between Ben and Freya doesn’t turn into constant bickering. So far, so good…

1st book in a new series, somewhat enjoyed so will give the 2nd book a go.

Got into this and couldn't put it down, so good,just into the first one but now ordered 4 more, great writing and storytelling. Keep going Jack Cartwright.

A new DI with issues joins a team suffering from a loss. A murder is investigated and an intertwined family issue starts to unravel. But not before there are several twists that the reader only learns towards the end.

This is a wonderful mystery with many twists and turns and an unexpected ending that I certainly didn’t see coming .

At first, I wasn’t sure but the characters, the mysteries, and the pat beguiled me. I am thrilled to have found a new author to read and enjoy! It’s a great beginning.

It took me awhile to become accustomed to the writing style of the author. I got there. The story was slow at first. The characters are intriguing especially the main protagonist, Freya. Towards the end of the story, everyone had become a suspect. The actual killer was a surprise. The plot is good. The characters are growing on me. I’ll read the next instalment before I decide if I’ll read the series. Not entirely convinced yet.

Wonderful first book to start a new series and start the induction of the many characters.Hope that the following books are as good and keep up the books as great reading.

A good story but I found the interaction between the two lead characters completely unbelievable which spoiled it for me somewhat.
