Used this for multiple international trips now and have really enjoyed it. Sleek design and sufficient versatility for most situations.I use this as my through-the-airport bag as well as walking around town. When I'm actually traveling, there's plenty of space for documents & IDs, notepad, ink pen, battery bank, airpods, protein bar, eye mask, ear plugs, decongestant, spare face mask, hand sanitizer... Everything I'd need quick access to.I like that's it's big enough to carry all that without everything being puzzle pieced in there. Still room to pull one thing out without other things coming out with it.It's also small enough that flight attendants don't have a problem with me wearing it for take off and landing. If there's an emergency, that's when it's gonna happen. I know not to try to bring my actual suitcase with me in an evacuation... but if I'm making it off the plane, I WILL have my passport, phone & charger. Identification and communication/money helps avoid the majority of the stress in the aftermath of an emergency.So far, it has proven durable. Though I must say, it doesn't really get abused. It most stays on my body or locked up altogether (hostel or gym locker). It doesn't get put on the floor or in overhead bins.One thing I wish it had is one thin pocket in the body side of the bag for just my passport.Traveling internationally, I find I need it frequently... But I do not ever just walk around with it in my hand. And I don't want to leave the main compartment wide open for easy access. Small gripe though.

I was hesitant at first, I had heard good things about Bellroy and these types of bags but everything I saw and was told was about the smaller versions, I was looking for something bigger and found this!So far the 9L version has been surprisingly good so far, its got padding nearly all the way around except for the top which isn't a big deal given that if you drop a bag it's unlikely to fall and land upside down unless you've packed your stuff in a very unconventional manner....Love the bronze/orange coloring, it just felt right for the Fall season and I happen to like Orange, there's some nice contrasting coloring going on with the inner linings so it's easier to see what's inside the bag without struggling to see what's in the bag and what IS the bag.The straps are like car seat belts and they use this nifty, almost "auto compression" method for the sides of the bag so that when you wear it, the weight of the bag itself will cause the side-straps to pull the bag in on itself.I've noticed and heard plenty about these open corners of the bag, the way the sides and top corners of the bag fold is almost like an accordion 🪗 😅 and the the top half of the bag has a lip to it, to cover over the top edges, kind of like how a roof on a house tends to cover the uppermost part of the wall from light rains where the wall and roof meet. This has lead to a few negative reviews mentioning how things COULD fall out from these small open corners or how a thief could potentially snatch things from the bag.I can't speak on behalf of anyone else's experience but I find it nearly impossible to squeeze a finger into the bag thru its corners, perhaps there's some pickpocket out there with comically long and skinny fingers. As for things falling out, unless you're carrying large quantities of small objects like marbles, while running around with the bag flopping around everywhere and upside down, well....🤷

just received it, and know of bellroy quality as i own several other of their products.been looking for a new personal carry bag for my flights, as tired of lugging a backpack or computer bag... and after watching loads of reviews, thought i'd give this a punt.to be honest, when i unpacked the sling i thought there's no way it will fit all my stuff.but it has. just did a test load of: Sony over ear headphones, travel folder with passport and currency, five face masks, small bottle of hand sanitizer, phone/charging cable/plug, notebook, pen, mints, packable shop bag, and a hero clip.can highly recommend it.

Nachdem ich stundelang youtube-Videos zu verschiedenen Slingbags angeschaut habe, die besonders für Fotografen interessant sind, habe ich ich für diese entschieden. Sie war ein Geschenk für meinen Mann, der sie seitdem ständig in Gebraucht hat. Es passt sehr viel rein. Die Tasche ist praktisch zu tragen, sie passt sich sehr gut an verschiedene Tragepositionen an und sieht dazu auch noch gut aus! - Ich bin froh, dass ich mich gegen die größere Kamera-Tasche derselben Marke entschiedene habe, weil die ein wenig kleinere noch flexibler für alle Arten von Nutzung ist, auch wenn weniger drin ist. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen und empfehlen.
